Magnificent! The cuisine was generous and refined, the sweetbreads succulent, and the coconut apple accompaniment for the frogs' legs was very original. The service was top-notch: a charming and attentive young lady and a very accommodating gentleman. We highly recommend it and will return with friends to spread the word about this excellent restaurant. Thank you!

Finally, a restaurant we can trust! We received a warm welcome and were shown to our elegantly set table: clean dishes and a cloth tablecloth and napkin (so much nicer than paper). The service was impeccable: discreet and friendly. And the food? Simply delicious: the dishes were exquisite (sweetbreads and frog legs, chicken in cream sauce, etc.). The atmosphere is cozy and steeped in history (it's a former train station). We can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy their dishes again on their terrace shaded by magnificent plane trees. Go and discover this place: you won't be disappointed, but don't forget to make a reservation.

Hello Another exceptional experience this Saturday evening, February 28, 2026. There were four of us. The restaurant is always top-notch every time we go! For us, it's the best restaurant in the Dombes region, where everything is perfect!!! From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a big smile and great attention. The staff, a young woman and a young man, are incredibly kind, providing impeccable and very professional service. They take care of you! A very good restaurant where the culinary traditions of the Dombes region are very much in evidence, with highlights including frogs' legs in parsley sauce, chicken in cream sauce, and carp fillets meunière, not to mention other classic French dishes. The wine cellar offers a good selection, including the option of a "pot lyonnaise, 46 cl"... no surprise, since Lyon is only about 50 km from La Chapelle du Châtelard! The welcome and service are impeccable, and a visit on a sunny day to enjoy the pleasant terrace shaded by plane trees is not to be missed. Reservations are essential!

Excellent meal, the lunch menu is perfect, the goujonnettes are superb, as is the rest of the meal. One of the guests ordered frogs' legs 🐸 👍. Private parking and a large car park directly opposite. I also noticed the lovely terrace for the summer.

A delicious meal from start to finish. Very pleasant welcome and service. Good choice on the menus.
