Restaurant les Platanes sur La Chapelle-Du-Chatelard

We came as a family in July with a table of 11 people and had a wonderful time on the shaded terrace. The young woman who served us was professional, pleasant, and dedicated to doing her job well. Everyone was delighted.

The two waitresses were great. The meal wasn't bad, but the value for money wasn't there (for example, frog legs served with crisps—frankly disappointing). Worth trying once...

A beautiful establishment, the products are excellent, the terrace is very pleasant, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it.

Overall, we had a good time and the food was good (the frogs' legs and appetizers were excellent). However, there are a couple of points to mention. - The mojito we were offered was poorly made: no ice, filled with sparkling water – in short, the recipe needs improvement. - The service: we asked for wine recommendations, but in the end, we chose our own because the woman who was supposed to help us wasn't able to advise us. One last point: the water bottles weren't cold because they weren't in the fridge (according to the waitress). In short, these are small details that could improve the experience and the restaurant's reputation. For a final bill of over €200 (for 3 people), I think we can expect a fair amount of food. Beautiful setting on the terrace under the plane trees - very efficient and pleasant service - superb meal - there were three of us friends - one Dombes menu (€26) and two menus (€45) - the vegetable tart was delicious, the carp and frog gougonettes were excellent, and what can I say about the apricot profiteroles... a real treat - thank you to the whole team, we had a wonderful time - we will definitely be back

A magnificent terrace under century-old plane trees, a warm welcome, and plenty of space between tables. The food is delicious, with generous portions. My only complaint is that for a €55 menu, at that price, I think it would be nice to include cheese and dessert. Especially for such a modest price, a small glass of fromage blanc or two scoops of ice cream (like a Colonel) wouldn't jeopardize the restaurant's finances and would be appreciated by customers.
