Several really good vegan options, both savory and sweet! I especially recommend the vegan gluten-free dark chocolate and hazelnut cookie, and the vegan banana bread 🙏🏻 The prices are reasonable, although some drinks are a bit pricey, but it's still okay ;) The decor inside is super nice, and you can even sit on the terrace 🌿

A really cute café with delicious hot chocolate, and the cheesecake and lemon square were super tasty. They generally have a great selection of cakes and cold snacks like gazpacho or croques. The service was also very friendly. A great spot for a short break and recharging in the shade.

I love the sofa in the back; we settle in there with friends and chat over banana cake and a long coffee....

Izarrena

18/08/2026: A small tapas bar/restaurant on a little street in Bayonne. That alone is promising. Well, Izarrena lives up to that promise. Fantastic welcome, fantastic tapas. No doubt about it, a real Bayonne gem!
07/08/2026: We chose Izarrena to celebrate our daughter's birthday, and we had a wonderful evening! The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the team showed genuine kindness by discreetly adapting to everyone's needs. The tapas were absolutely delicious: high-quality ingredients, successful flavor combinations, and plates that made you want to try everything. The homemade desserts were also excellent, with a special mention for the French toast, which was simply incredible! A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and the little touches that made this birthday evening even more special. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return!

Brasserie Les Glacis

22/09/2026: We had lunch right in the center of Bayonne, opposite the tourist office. The welcome was friendly and pleasant, and the service was quick. The dishes were very well prepared; the skewer from the daily special was cooked exactly as I wanted it, and the Axoa was delicious. The portions were generous. We ate on the terrace in the shade, near the plane trees. A good, well-regarded restaurant that deserves its rating. We will be back.
22/09/2026: Excellent meal, served by the charming owner. The veal axoa was delicious. Monique and Yvon, cyclists passing through.
