A really cute place under a glass roof with exceptional quality coffees and teas! The owner is passionate and takes the time to explain the different types of coffees and their origins.

I completely disagree with the negative reviews of this place. I came by chance after visiting another shop. It's a beautiful café with a fairly large seating area (for a café). While the drinks are indeed expensive, everything is clearly labeled. I didn't find the wait long either. My hot chocolate and cookie were excellent. I won't be back every day, but this place is definitely worth a visit. The barista was presenting the coffees to other customers at the counter and seemed passionate about his work.

A special place where you go for the peace and quiet, the beautiful conservatory in the backyard, and the high-quality products. The music and comic book selection are exceptional. Computers are indeed prohibited (for the better), and you have to wait to be seated at the owner's discretion. It's a very unique place that you can either love or hate, for the same reasons. I'm one of those who really appreciates it.

The best coffee in Paris for purists who want to savour the complexity of the bean. No sugar available, and milk is served with a bit of disdain. Pierre-Jacques is an acquired taste as reviews here very clearly point out. He is simply not for everyone. But his knowledge is unrivalled about all things related to coffee and he rightly is not seeking mobile-laptop-working crowd. Go with an open mind, and don’t be in a rush.

Excellent coffee, but indeed the welcome is quite cold most of the time.

A good experience for me; I wanted a good filter coffee and appreciated the few questions they asked to help me find one I liked (fruity or floral, unusual or classic, that sort of thing). The filter coffee was excellent, and the option to drink at the counter at a reduced price was a nice touch. It doesn't really seem like the place to go for the latest trendy Ube Latte, but it's fine for a good coffee with a wide selection of quality beans.

Fantastic experience with a true enthusiast! A wonderful discovery!
