Karitza sur Biarritz

Lovely hotel a short walk to the centre. Whole place had a clean, well run, friendly feel.

A very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely attentive. The establishment was very clean. If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be the breakfast. It was a shame we had to make the pancakes and/or eggs ourselves. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The hotel and staff were very pleasant. The location and decor were excellent.

Unfortunately, the rooms are the let down of the hotel. Too small to actually be able to open up a suitcase, let alone two. The bathroom has a sliding door that doesn't completely close so you have absolutely no privacy when using the facilities. There was also a very strong smell of the cleaning products being used throughout the hotel which are aggressive and unpleasant. We also regularly smelled a fishy smell when entering our room, unsure if it's the drains or something else, other than this, the rooms felt clean and were well presented. The staff were helpful and pleasant and the location is excellent, only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Biarritz.

Overall had a very enjoyable stay. Lovely rooms if a little on the small side. Breakfast was tasty. Reception staff could be a little more welcoming.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Jules Verne in Biarritz, and it was a wonderful discovery. The hotel perfectly combines comfort, elegance, and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the common areas are pleasant and impeccably maintained. A special mention goes to the magnificent, spacious, and very inviting swimming pool—a real asset for fully enjoying your stay. The location is ideal: everything is easily accessible on foot for exploring Biarritz, its beaches, shops, and restaurants. The parking is also a real plus, especially appreciated in a city where parking can quickly become difficult. A big thank you to Baptiste for his recommendations and advice, and to the entire team for the warm welcome, helpfulness, and professionalism they demonstrate every day. Special mention to Sabrina for her dedication and vision of hospitality, which is evident in every detail of the stay. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return!
