Good food, good service, good atmosphere.
Until it came time to pay, we wanted to pay with holiday vouchers, as indicated on the website
chèquevacance.org!
And then the owner told us it wasn't possible! He had apparently asked to be removed from the site, but it hadn't been done. The problem is, we customers aren't supposed to know this. So, a little advice: it would be good to indicate this on the front of your restaurant. At least customers wouldn't be misled, and it would prevent ruined meals. What a shame!
If you plan to pay with holiday vouchers, don't be fooled...

We came as a group of 3 adults, 1 child, and a baby.
We were served quickly, and the children's meal was served while we were having our starters.
Very friendly service.
Dinner of the day + starter for €23.
Excellent meat.
Fast service despite the crowds during this Vintage Bike weekend.

We had a wonderful time!
The meat was incredible, perfectly cooked and truly delicious. The waffles were also very good, generously sized and satisfying. A very warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere made us want to return. An excellent place in Saumur that we highly recommend.

Absolute recommendation:
Sometimes pictures say more than a thousand words. Everything was eaten.
Food:
Appetizer: Burrata with tomato relish and basil sorbet. Exceptionally good.
Main course:
Steak platter for two:
4 types of meat. All cooked to perfection. Super tender! Side dishes are optional.
Dessert:
Chocolate cake with a molten center. Banana ice cream on the side. A dream!
Service:
French and English
Friendliness:
Everyone on the team makes you feel welcome. Perfect service.
Wine:
Outstanding quality! Plus, they gave us advice on where to find these great wines.
