16/08/2026: I came to Saumur for the weekend with my partner and booked a table for Saturday evening.
We were completely satisfied; everything was homemade with top-quality ingredients. The cheese platter was amazing! 😍
The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, and the staff was very friendly.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food. All the best!

18/08/2026: It's become a kebab shop, with no welcome, no one comes to take your order, and just leaves you standing around while they watch you and take your order inside. When you go in, they tell you they have other customers to serve... They have about as much energy as a sluggish larva! Avoid it, especially since there's a much better one just a few meters away...

14/06/2026: Hello, we had a very good meal with generous portions, which was a real treat. It was a bit away from the noise of the square and in the shade. The waitresses were very kind and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was very reasonably priced for the quality. Congratulations to Romain and his team, as well as to the waitress. We will definitely be back. Thank you for this very pleasant experience.

We were a group of 15 people, and we were all delighted with the food. The dishes were beautifully presented, generous portions, and delicious.
I will definitely be back.

I simply pointed out that the indoor temperature was difficult for dining, and I asked that fans would be essential during this very hot period. She replied that her husband worked in 10 degrees warmer weather, so basically I had no right to complain! A completely unprofessional and idiotic remark...
04/08/2026: Super friendly hostess, located on a quiet street just outside the busy center of Saumur. Had a delicious meal, three-course menu for €35, fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!

05/09/2026: We love the food here: escargot in 3 variations, the duck leg and squids as mains. The dessert, pistachio creme brûlée is excellent. The wine le Sid from cahor enhanced our lunch experience. Service was impeccable. Altogether we had a lovely lunch experience.
03/09/2026: The food was incredible, the best duck I have had in France! The snails were also delicious, and the risotto was a highlight as well. We loved the quiet terrace, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was outstanding. We felt so welcome and looked after. We will definitely be back, this was a lovely intimate dinner.
