Kerry's Pub sur Clermont-Ferrand

We went for a drink this evening as a couple after the cinema. The waitress dropped her knife and some sausage slipped off the board when she brought it to us. Like a true professional, she apologized, replaced the dropped knife, and replaced the dropped food. Friendly and pleasant, the waitress did a great job. I recommend it and would gladly return; the beers are excellent too.

We dined there after Kerry's reopened - Bravo to the new chef! Everything was perfect! I recommend it.

Nice place for a drink. Counter service only, so don't expect to be able to sit comfortably while ordering and waiting for your food.

A nice Irish pub where you can enjoy the music or chat with friends without shouting. A very nice place.

The place is very nice, but the service is nonexistent. In the afternoon, you can come and go without seeing any staff; you have to order at the counter and serve yourself. The concept itself isn't bad, but lowering the prices and being friendly would make things much more pleasant for customers. 😉

The food was fantastic! The sauces were excellent, a wonderful time with the family.

I've been going to Kerry's Pub for about 15 years. I used to go there every week when I lived in Clermont, and we go back every chance we get. I took some friends there to eat on a Saturday night. What a disappointment! There was no one there, so there was no atmosphere. There were 16 of us, including children. The food has become deplorable (warm goat cheese toast made with sandwich bread, canned gizzards, cheap frozen fries even though it says "homemade fries" on the menu, the children's menus were served last, the beef carpaccio was swimming in olive oil and was disgusting. Frankly, it was a low-end cafeteria. Really disappointed. I feel sorry for the waiters and waitresses who do everything they can and end up facing dissatisfied customers, who serve dishes they don't take responsibility for (and I understand them), and who, despite all that, remain conscientious, pleasant, and cheerful. In short, go there, but above all, don't eat there!

Very nice setting and waitresses... only downside on Halloween night the security guard who was outside spent more than an hour on the phone looking at us (the smokers) askance and you have to see how he barked at a small group who didn't even speak loudly and who didn't make any waves in any way that it must have disturbed him in his telephone conversation of lovesick lovers simple human stupidity?? Or feelings of being able to talk to people as he pleases because he is a security guard?? Surely just.... very rude and above all full of himself
