A must-visit! Everything was perfect!!! Refined, expertly prepared, seasonal cuisine and an exceptional meat jus! The service was warm, professional, and friendly. After speaking with the manager, it became clear that this excellent restaurant is built on experience in Michelin-starred establishments and a truly cohesive team. We will definitely be back without hesitation. Bravo!

I discovered this charming brasserie in November 2025, in the heart of the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence. My primary goal was to find a place where I could occasionally enjoy a quiet cup of tea. Before moving to Aix, I lived in Cannes, where I already had my favorite spots, the kind you cherish, whether you're a visitor or a resident. I like to have my go-to places for every moment of the day: some for a delicate afternoon tea, others for a late-afternoon cocktail, and still others for a delicious lunch or dinner. I remain loyal to the places that have won me over, while always remaining open to new discoveries. That's how this chic brasserie particularly caught my eye. Initially, I went there simply to enjoy a cup of tea; But, over time, it has become my go-to spot for both lunch and dinner. I've had the opportunity to dine at some truly iconic establishments, such as the Negresco Hotel in Nice and the Peninsula in Paris. Some might say that this Aix-en-Provence brasserie is nothing like these prestigious restaurants. Yet, that hardly matters. The true elegance of a restaurant lies not only in its name or its decor, but in the soul it embodies, in the sincerity of the cuisine, and in the sensitivity of those who bring it to life. Here, the cuisine possesses a delicate touch and a lightness that have won me over. Let me be clear that I am in no way trying to diminish the establishments I mentioned in Nice or Paris; but it is true that each restaurant has its own style, its own vision, its own unique identity, its own singular expertise. And it is precisely this diversity that makes a restaurant so rich, beautiful, and sometimes even unique. France is celebrated worldwide for its gastronomy, its delicate aromas, and its subtle art of transforming simple ingredients into truly pleasurable moments. This brasserie in Aix-en-Provence is, in my opinion, a perfect example: cuisine imbued with gentleness, finesse, and a certain French art of living. If you are looking for a fine restaurant in the charming city of Aix-en-Provence, I highly recommend the Brasserie de l’Archevêché, located at 36 rue Gaston-de-Saporta. Its terrace, complete with a small fountain exuding typical Provençal charm, creates a setting that exudes a relaxed lifestyle and will undoubtedly delight your palate as much as your eyes. The staff perfectly reflects the spirit of this chic brasserie: welcoming, elegant, smiling, and always attentive. Their presence is discreet yet effective, imbued with genuine courtesy, sometimes enhanced by a touch of delicately measured humor. For me, this establishment and those who work there perfectly embody the chic and elegance of Aix-en-Provence: light cuisine, attentive service, and that gentle way of life that seems to float in the southern air. In short, a place that evokes, in its own way, the timeless charm of France.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today with the set menu. The starter was very generous, the main course delicious, and the service impeccable. The terrace, shaded by trees and featuring a fountain, is charming. I will gladly return.

We stopped in here for lunch and it was a very busy place, which is always a good sign! Despite the crowd, the service was quite efficient and our food came out quickly. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. We found the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s easy to see why this spot is so popular with the lunch crowd—we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

We were greeted by a very friendly and professional team, despite the late hour for lunch on a Saturday. The decor is elegant. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, with touches of originality! We will gladly return!

Great restaurant, great Enzo! Somethings happen for a reason. We are regular customers of the restaurant La Petite Ferme in Aix-en-Provence. However, we were saddened by the departure of the manager, Enzo, who was an exemplary colleague and waiter—very kind, affable, professional, and polite—everything about him was wonderful. While strolling through the old town of Aix, near the town hall, and more precisely at the corner of the Archbishop's Palace, we ran into Enzo in front of the restaurant. He greeted us warmly. We went in to eat and had a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was great, the service excellent, and the food superb—everything was perfect. Congratulations to the whole team and to Enzo! My partner and I came to eat the day before Valentine's Day, and we had a wonderful meal! The staff was attentive, the decor was elegant, and above all, the food was truly delicious. To top it all off, there was a good selection of wines to choose from. Finally, the bill was reasonably priced. I highly recommend this establishment.
