We've been to this charming place several times. The staff are excellent and very discreet. The avocado is amazing, beautifully presented, and visually stunning. Facing the sea, a truly relaxing experience is guaranteed.

We went there several times during our stay and, frankly, we were pleasantly surprised. The setting is perfect by the sea, the meals are excellent, and the staff are incredibly polite and friendly.

An excellent experience from start to finish! The food is delicious, the portions generous and beautifully presented; you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a family dinner. A special mention goes to Leon, our server that evening: he was remarkably kind and professional. Always smiling and attentive, he made sure the dishes arrived promptly and that we had everything we needed. It's this kind of attention to detail that makes all the difference and truly makes you want to return. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the service. We've been coming for five years, and we've dined at this restaurant for the last three. We're always warmly welcomed, the food is delicious and offers a good selection. The view is superb every time. The service is very professional. Top-notch. Remember to book ahead.

The setting is very nice, but the service was incredibly slow (and the restaurant wasn't even full), and there were no high chairs available. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children. However, it's a good place overall, especially with a €25 set menu.

The paella was okay, nothing special, but the welcome and service were excellent. A special thank you to the young waiter who looked after our table upstairs; he was truly fantastic.

05/08/2026: As every year, it's a real pleasure to return to L'Améthyste restaurant in Port Argelès. We thoroughly enjoyed the mussels and fries—generous portions, delicious flavors, and perfectly prepared. A true delight from start to finish! But beyond the quality of the food, it's the warm welcome that makes us want to come back. This year again, we were served by a team of smiling, friendly, and very attentive waiters, always with a kind word that made our day. A big thank you also to the charming hostess, whose smile, kindness, and good humor helped create a warm atmosphere from the moment we arrived. She truly makes a difference and deserves to be recognized. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return during our next stay in Port Argelès. See you soon! ☀️🦪🍟
05/08/2026: The food is good and the ingredients are of good quality. The service is quick. However, I'm deducting a star because of the welcome! The service was cold and unfriendly, a feeling shared by everyone at the table.

Le Valmarie

08/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at Camping du Bois de Valmarie. A good campsite, the mobile home was clean and well-equipped. Perhaps a small television would have been a welcome addition, even just to watch the news, for example. We were a little disappointed with the jacuzzi area, which was too cold for our liking. Initially reserved for adults (18+), the pool was repeatedly filled with children (with their parents in the sun loungers...). Why not implement supervision, if it isn't already in place? On the plus side, the mini-market isn't too expensive for basic camping supplies, and the site is well-located. Bicycles, a griddle, and paddleboards are available for rent.
03/05/2026: We were only there for two days, that was enough for us.
