The food is good and the ingredients are of good quality. The service is quick. However, I'm deducting a star because of the welcome! The service was cold and unfriendly, a feeling shared by everyone at the table.

As every year, it's a real pleasure to return to L'Améthyste restaurant in Port Argelès. We thoroughly enjoyed the mussels and fries—generous portions, delicious flavors, and perfectly prepared. A true delight from start to finish! But beyond the quality of the food, it's the warm welcome that makes us want to come back. This year again, we were served by a team of smiling, friendly, and very attentive waiters, always with a kind word that made our day. A big thank you also to the charming hostess, whose smile, kindness, and good humor helped create a warm atmosphere from the moment we arrived. She truly makes a difference and deserves to be recognized. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and hospitality. We come to L’Améthyste every year and always enjoy it so much! ❤️ This time, we had the mussels and fries, which were absolutely delicious. 😋 Last year, we tried the Barbie burger, which was just as good! A special mention for the young woman at the reception, who is always so kind and smiling. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! 🥰

We've been coming to Argeles-sur-Mer for our holidays for the past four years, and we always eat at L'Améthyste. We've never been disappointed; the dishes are delicious and generous, with very reasonable prices. The welcome is warm, and there's a beautiful view of the port. We absolutely love Argeles-sur-Mer! 🤩

We came for dinner as a family. The meal was good, good value for money. However, the service was very average, with an argument between employees and management, and a curt and cold service from a woman.

A place where you can stop; wheelchairs and large dogs are welcome.... Valérie is very friendly, business-minded, smiling, and approachable—a level of contact you don't find everywhere... They were very welcoming at first, then the starter arrived, and 50 minutes later the main course: tiny mussels! And 30 minutes after that, dessert! We were told twice, "You understand, there are 150 covers, please be patient!" Excuse me, but in a restaurant like this, if you're a professional, you'd serve a lot of customers and usually have two seatings! Well, I hope they have new management because this is... well! Not even an apology for the wait! If you're not in a hurry, it's okay for the price, which is a shame.
