Konnichiwa sur Lyon

I came here by chance, wanting Japanese takeout, and I found exactly what I was looking for with "Neiges" (Snows). I was pleasantly surprised by the size of my bag when they handed it to me, as my order was ready. Once I got home, I discovered my "Neiges" were incredibly generous, and not just in rice; they had large pieces of fresh, delicious salmon and plenty of cream cheese. It was very tasty and the price was more than reasonable! It's a shame it's not closer to my home. I thoroughly enjoyed it! My order was ready in just 5 minutes flat at 7 pm on a Saturday.

By far the best in Lyon! My culinary delight: the spring tempura!!! Yum!!! A real treat, the fish is delicious, the portions are generous and perfectly prepared, and on top of that, the service is superb and friendly every time.

We stumbled upon this place the first time and now we keep coming back because everything is delicious! The fish is fresh and the pieces are truly beautiful, not just a small bit drowned in rice. They are very friendly and accommodating, and their eco-friendly approach of not offering tuna separately by special order to avoid waste is much appreciated. In short, as a Lyon resident for 10 years and after trying quite a few Japanese restaurants, this is without a doubt the best in the city!

A bit on the edge of the street but hey... that's the case for quite a few restaurants around here. No chicken other than "halal", unfortunately... but I reassure the waiter who seems not to have appreciated my "stigmatizing" remark: Yes, after all, it's okay, it's not serious, I won't make any more inappropriate remarks because not agreeing to validate ritual slaughter is wrong after all. One could also think that in the absence of meat, customers would be quite satisfied with sushi, and that I, ME, have no obligation to eat religiously! I sit down and eat sushi for €19.90. Excellent sweet and sour salad, hot miso soup inevitable during a heatwave, excellent fresh sushi and very reasonable prices. Apart from the chicken skewers thing, it's an excellent address.
