Yes, it's a village festival (medium-sized town), when will the name change for this festival (the name FERIA has gone out of fashion for non-historic towns)? The name feria should have been abandoned a long time ago. We do not claim to compare ourselves with Béziers. But the city is alive: entertainment in all the streets, traders playing the game, a perfect date when people have returned from vacation and which is no longer in competition with "the cassoulet festival". It's far from perfect but I found people happy to enjoy these moments. Improvement is continuous and Carcassone will get there.
