Kuma, France sur Paris

Probably the best curry in Paris. The fact that there are now two locations in the capital has drastically reduced the waiting time. You can either eat in if there's space, or take it to go and relax in one of the many nearby parks to enjoy it.

Exceptional dinner. I enjoyed both the food and the intimate atmosphere created by the small restaurant. Keep in mind that you'll have to wait in line, so I recommend arriving early.

This small Japanese curry place in the Marais is a gem. Although we waited about 30 minutes due to the limited space, it was totally worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and full of charming Japanese details. The staff is incredibly friendly: they take your order before you even enter and are very attentive throughout your meal. This attentiveness makes the experience feel even warmer and more efficient. We tried the katsu curry, which was delicious, with crispy breading, a thick sauce, and perfect rice. We paired it with a refreshing lemonade and an ice-cold Kirin Ichiban beer. All in all, a highly recommended spot if you're looking for delicious and authentic Japanese food in the Marais.

For once, I was happy to discover that a restaurant I found on Instagram lived up to all its promises. As a Japanese curry aficionado, this is the best I've had so far. I hate onions, and for the first time, I ate without even noticing them. Generous portions, flavorful, and the curry had a wonderfully smooth texture. I was won over and will definitely be back. The only downside was the wait for a table due to the size of the place. But if you have the time and patience to wait, believe me, you'll be rewarded. So, as you can tell, it's a resounding yes. You can go there without hesitation.

Food was okay. Definitely not worth the wait for the long line outside and I ended up ordering to go at the window. It was my first time in Paris where I spoke to the gentleman in French but he refused to speak to me in French. The vibe was off.

A unique experience. There are only 6 seats, so arrive well in advance if you don't want to wait too long. The food was very good, but unfortunately, the advertised Karaage was just chicken thighs with crispy skin—a shame. Otherwise, the service was very pleasant.

Despite the potentially frustrating wait, the server puts you at ease and regularly checks in on your progress. The dishes arrive quickly and are bursting with flavor. A lovely spot for a cozy, quiet, and high-quality dinner.
