Kuma, France sur Paris

Restaurant that does not steal its reputation! We waited a long time outside (you have been warned) but once inside the service was immediate (literally!) and the food was delicious. Be careful, this is not a restaurant where you come with the idea of ​​staying there to chat for 3 hours.

We ordered 2 chicken katsu curries. The curry sauce is excellent and really close to what we find in Japan, but the chicken is unfortunately not really crispy enough and too dry. The team is still super nice!

The food was just excellent! The friendly staff and the small, authentic-looking room make this place a little pearl of the Marais. I can only recommend this address :) (which was recommended to me myself)

The food is great, and the quantity is also pretty decent for the price paid. The restaurant and the food are nicely decorated and plated, with Japanese style posters and stuff. Downside: The restaurant is really small, avoid if you're in a hurry (the line is at least 30 mins long if you come after 12pm and 7pm), if you are large group (about 10 seats only) and if you have luggage or oyher voluminous stuff

If you are visiting Paris and find yourself in Le Marais, or even if you have to travel this place it is a must. The staff are very friendly and create the most amazing dishes in a small but welcoming space. I recommend trying the karaage don, a meal so nice we had to go back twice.

A super nice address. The cuisine is super nice, the place is really unique. It's a shame there aren't more seats, but that's what sets it apart. After the egg supplement price is still quite expensive. Otherwise I would happily go back!

By far the best Japanese curry in Paris (with veg options)

This restaurant already seems well known because there is always a queue every time I pass by it. The dish I tried (karaage Don) was excellent! There are not many different dishes on the menu, which means you can be served very quickly. Places are extremely limited indoors. Also, you have to arrive at the opening, be patient or take away. I would happily return.
