The udon is very thick and chewy! It is said to be handmade and we love it! The udon with tempura was pretty good! And the curry taste is quite standard for me and quite a lot of pork tonkatsu. The karage is good, we like it. The price is a bit too pricy compared to other udon places but the food itself is good! The space is quite small so you’ll have to queue if you come at peak hour, u can’t book a table in advance.

I recommend this restaurant for udon soups: the noodles are fresh, the broth is good, everything is good. It is a little higher than elsewhere but this is explained by the quality.

The pork soup udon was delicious. There was a huge line and there wasn't much space in the seats. I want to eat Japanese! If so, I recommend it.

Excellents udons (avec une mention spéciale pour celui aux tempuras de crevettes) et mochis en dessert. L’ambiance de cantine japonaise avec de grandes tables partagées est sympa et dépaysante. En revanche, le personnel vous met dehors agressivement après 1h30, pour donner votre place à d’autres clients. À éviter donc quand vous voulez passer une soirée tranquille à discuter ..

Initially attracted by the long queues outside but I’m very well surprised by the food. I would rank this as one of the best japanese restaurants and udons I’ve ever had in Paris. The udon noodles were hard and chewy which I love. I got the small udon to try so the soups were all simple but still good. The star of the show was surely the udon noodles! As my main, I got the oyakodon and well, it was super delicious too. It’s a simple dish to nail but also difficult as it’s easy to taste any ingredient that’s not done well. Overall, a definite must-try in the Pyramides area. I would re-visit again to try the other dishes as well.
