Very good restaurant even though it is NOT run by Japanese people but by Chinese people (having studied Mandarin, I can recognize the language ☺️)

This is the best sushi place I've ever been to!!! The first impression wasn't so good: the music was a bit off and there weren't many customers. But when we ordered, a very good evening began. The waitress was incredibly friendly, and we successfully placed our orders. Then the surprises began. We first got a special, then a salad, and then a soup, in addition to our ordered dishes. When we finally got to the main course, a delicious, fresh sushi arrived, and the place gradually filled up. Finally, we got a small fruit salad. I can 100% recommend this place!!!

07/02/2026: There were positive reviews and one negative review regarding the restaurant's hygiene. Several days after dining there, I had no food poisoning. The waitress was friendly, the prices reasonable, and the food good. One drawback was the very blue-violet ambiance of the dining room due to the neon lights. The effect was less intense inside than it appeared from the outside.

The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the dishes are perfectly executed, and the flavors are truly exceptional. Whether it's the sushi, the rolls, or the hot dishes, everything is expertly prepared and generously portioned. Special mention also goes to the warm welcome and the staff, who are always smiling, attentive, and offer excellent advice. You feel right at home, the atmosphere is pleasant, and you definitely want to come back. If you're looking for quality Japanese food, with top-notch ingredients and genuine hospitality, Oniwa is a sure bet. A truly wonderful place. 🍣
