Nice people, didn't have to book ahead. Really good food, close to Euralille and the main city. Also a really pretty decor. We liked it very much. Could sit here even as a (temporary) wheelchair user.

Kyoto restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Japanese cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the salmon and avocado sushi, which was very fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was impeccable, especially thanks to Kenji, an attentive and very friendly waiter who took the time to advise customers. The minimalist decor, with its Japanese lanterns and wooden panels, creates a calm and elegant atmosphere, ideal for a delightful experience.

A very pleasant restaurant that my partner introduced me to (he's been eating there for over 18 years!). The atmosphere is very calm, and you're completely immersed in Japanese culture. There's a wide variety of choices, which means you can try something different each time and discover new flavors! But what I want to emphasize most of all is the service: we're always warmly welcomed with a smile and good cheer! Kyoto has become our go-to spot :)

A wonderful discovery! We received a warm welcome at this little restaurant near the train station, like stepping into a Japanese street market – intimate and delicious! We returned a few days later and will definitely be back. :) Highly recommended!

26/04/2026: If you are looking for an affordable all-you-can-eat restaurant for an evening of unlimited sushi and (halal) meat and fish dishes, this is the place to be. At €23 for dinner and €18 for lunch, the price is attractive. Do not expect a refined culinary experience or a special atmosphere; the setting is more reminiscent of a simple dining hall or canteen. The staff is functional and does what is necessary, without much extra attention. If you mainly want to eat a lot for little money and do not have high expectations, this is a fine choice.
