A humble Japanese restaurant with good quality food. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you'd expect from a decent Japanese meal at a reasonable price.
Close to Lille Flandres train station, they offer takeout for the train. The set menu is under €15 (I ordered the €4 option in the photo).
I was served in 5 minutes. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and the staff is courteous and helpful.
I recommend it.

The food was very good and beautifully presented, the service was good, the waitress was smiling and laughing with us. The restaurant was quite quiet, so it was a very pleasant experience!

Nice people, didn't have to book ahead. Really good food, close to Euralille and the main city. Also a really pretty decor. We liked it very much. Could sit here even as a (temporary) wheelchair user.

Kyoto restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Japanese cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the salmon and avocado sushi, which was very fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was impeccable, especially thanks to Kenji, an attentive and very friendly waiter who took the time to advise customers. The minimalist decor, with its Japanese lanterns and wooden panels, creates a calm and elegant atmosphere, ideal for a delightful experience.

A very pleasant restaurant that my partner introduced me to (he's been eating there for over 18 years!). The atmosphere is very calm, and you're completely immersed in Japanese culture. There's a wide variety of choices, which means you can try something different each time and discover new flavors! But what I want to emphasize most of all is the service: we're always warmly welcomed with a smile and good cheer! Kyoto has become our go-to spot :)
