An iconic establishment on the quayside. I've only been to the bar. Friendly and quick service. Reasonable prices. I recommend it.

The food here is really very good... It's a shame the wait is so long... They open at noon... but it's impossible to get in, it's locked by a door. Ordering: first someone comes to take your drink order, and then another person comes much later for your main course. You also have to wait until everyone has been served their starter before you can get your main course. What a shame...

We arrived as a group of eight, without a reservation in the middle of summer, and they went out of their way to get us settled quickly and comfortably. We all ate very well; the portions were generous and the food was high quality. We had a wonderful time and we'll be back!

Excellent restaurant by the harbor. A complete menu for only €18, generous portions, and very good food. The waitresses were fantastic. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic experience at L’Ancre d’Or! The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everything was delicious, from the main course to the dessert, and the service was attentive and efficient. An excellent place to eat well in Les Sables-d’Olonne. I highly recommend it!

25/05/2026: I wholeheartedly agree with Valentin Bourrigault; this warm and welcoming restaurant allowed me to reconnect with life. The flavorful and delicious dishes left a lingering bitter aftertaste. And what can I say about the waitresses… smiling, charming, and with such generous smiles! What a pleasure it was to share this moment with the staff. Top-notch! I highly recommend this restaurant, which has given me a new perspective on life.
