Best restaurant in Risoul, anyone who says otherwise is lying. I happened to be here on my first day, and I've eaten here every day for the rest of the week. Each day was better than the last. What a fantastic restaurant. You're only hurting yourself if you don't eat here!

We had a wonderful time at L’Assiette Gourmande restaurant in Risoul 1850. A truly delightful discovery! The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with care. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. A huge thank you also to the waiter for his kindness, his smile, and his great professionalism. He gave us excellent advice and made our meal even more enjoyable. Attentive and warm service that makes all the difference! We will gladly return on our next trip to Risoul. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

L'Assiette Gourmande accepted our group of 11 without a reservation after another restaurant, "Le Montagnard" (to name names), turned us away despite our reservation. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We definitely got a great deal! We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

31/07/2026: A warm welcome in an equally warm setting! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and particularly appreciated the freshness of the local produce. We ordered the Ubaye raclette and the Risoul fondue, both excellent. Special mention goes to the desserts and the raspberry wine, which are also homemade!

16/08/2026: A superb evening for a small birthday celebration, featuring the Pierrade. Excellent, generous portions, we were very happy and will gladly return in December. The new owner is super friendly, I highly recommend it, but remember to book ahead.
16/08/2026: An excellent find! A superb discovery during our week-long vacation! We went back to this little restaurant three times, and each time we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were able to try the pierrade (hot stone grill) and the wine fondue, which we hadn't tried before and which was a pleasant surprise. I also tried the daily special, tuna tataki that day. Everything was truly excellent. Fresh, well-prepared ingredients, generous portions, and elegant presentation. The service is also very pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
