There were two of us, on bikes, and the welcome was simply fantastic. The rooms are superb, quiet, and full of charm. The family who runs this family-run hotel is very pleasant, attentive, and we immediately feel at ease. Even our most bizarre requests were met (washing our bikes with a hose). Plus, the place is charming and well-located. The best hotel in 10 days on our Velodyssee trip. I don't usually leave Google reviews, but frankly, well done. And thank you again.

While visiting Blaye with family, we appreciated the hotel's charm and location. The welcome was warm, and the rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable. The à la carte breakfast was generous and made with quality ingredients. We could only regret: - the narrow bathroom and shower stall, as well as the curtain (unpleasant!) - no rooms on the ground floor - access to the rooms on the first floor without an elevator (for elderly people...!) For these various points of concern, the price should not exceed €100/room instead of the €128 requested.

This hotel is truly an exceptional place. It only has 3 stars, but I would give it many more if possible. Extra stars for the sincere kindness of the welcome. Extra stars for all the information graciously provided about the wine, the vines, the life of the winemakers, the history and culture of the people of this region, the places to discover... Given graciously and with passion and sincerity by the owner of the establishment. Rather than strolling around town in the evening, we preferred to have an aperitif dinner at the hotel. A delicious aperitif prepared with talent and expertise, but also enriching for the mind. The hotel's design tastefully blends old stone and modernity. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast and lunch are of high quality, served with good humor and kindness by the owner and his staff, which quickly gets guests involved in conversation, as I imagine must have been the case in the days of stagecoaches in previous centuries in the beautiful inns. If you're looking for a cold, anonymous hotel with no human warmth, don't go here. Otherwise, don't hesitate.
