10/08/2026: A very warm welcome despite the crowds, the heat, and David not being at 100%! A deliberately limited menu featuring fresh ingredients; we opted for the sole/salmon duo and the chicken in wine sauce—no regrets, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you to Thomas and David for this much-appreciated lunch break, and get well soon, David!

03/08/2026: We enjoyed our lunch. The menu is short, but we liked all our dishes. There was a bit of a wait, but the service was very friendly.

05/07/2026: Welcoming owners, happy to share their knowledge and stories. Surrounded by an equally wonderful team in a magnificent setting. Excellent wine tastings paired with a delicious meal.

03/07/2026: The place is magnificent, the welcome extraordinary, and the food delicious. Not only is the price more than affordable, but they also offer you a bottle of wine and an aperitif in the evening. A big thank you to the owners and the staff who welcomed us. A 5-star motorhome stopover.

30/07/2026: Nice little aperitif in the heart of the Citadel. Closed a bit early. A swarm of wasps that we would have preferred not to see so close. A wasp trap might be useful.

18/08/2026: We absolutely loved this restaurant! ❤️ Everything was perfect: a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a lovely team who truly took excellent care of their customers. 🥰 The salmon pasta was a real treat, as was the pizza 🍕🍝, and the beer was excellent! 🍺 A fantastic restaurant where you feel comfortable and the food is delicious. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for your hospitality and this wonderful experience! 😊

08/06/2026: A pleasant stay in Blaye. The hotel is well located, the room was very comfortable and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bike storage facility was good and I also enjoyed the breakfast.

02/08/2026: As promised, the person was friendly and helpful, and the pizzas were generous and excellent, nothing to complain about!

30/08/2026: My fillet of salmon was the width of a finger, too small for a main costing €20 (I've since seen pictures of the salmon online and they are 3x the size of that I got). I asked the server why it was so small and he said that was the only size they have. He asked if I wanted an alternative main and gave me the menu. By the time he bothered following up, 10 minutes had passed and everyone else at the table had finished their food, so I didn't order anything else. At the end, my friend went to pay the bill and they refused to take it off. I then spoke to the man at the cashier who was extremely rude. He said I refused to eat the food, implying it was my fault I was unsatisfied with the food. He eventually admitted that he wasn't sorry that I had a bad experience. I was shocked at this level of customer service. In most restaurants, the cost would have been removed as a courtesy, but not here, because they simply don't care about customers and made that very clear. Learn some manners if you want to work in a customer facing role, at least to compensate for your terrible food.

23/08/2026: Top-notch restaurant in Blaye. Perfect welcome. Great menus and choices, even for vegetarians. I recommend it 100%!
