We found the hotel very pleasant, with the lake right next door. Having breakfast overlooking the lake was magnificent! Breakfast was very generous and dinner was excellent. They make delicious quenelles with Nantua sauce. We thank all the staff; their kindness is truly delightful, even though there are only a few of them. Thank you.

A very good restaurant for a meal with friends, in my opinion. The service, food, and pleasant atmosphere were excellent; I highly recommend it for lunch in Nantua. 👍

We stayed two nights in this very well-located hotel. We received a warm welcome upon arrival on Friday. We were given our room key and shown to our room. The room was quite pleasant, but several things disappointed us. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and we were surprised to see that the bathroom door handle was broken off. Furthermore, the heating system is slightly noisy at night, and the soundproofing of the doors is nonexistent; we could hear all the noises from the hallway and even other guests coughing in the neighboring rooms. Regarding the restaurant: We tried the restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings. The young staff were quite pleasant and attentive, the dishes were very well prepared, and the value for money was quite good. We were, however, disappointed by the "bar area in front of reception." While the hotel offers a space with comfortable armchairs, it lacks a cozy atmosphere with soft lighting and background music. The staff is generally pleasant but rather young; we felt they were still finding their feet and sometimes lacked professionalism. We hope this will improve, as the hotel is very well located with an incredible view of the lake. We will certainly return.

We only had dinner at this hotel/restaurant. The food was good and local. There's a panoramic view of the lake, so I recommend going there for lunch. The menu is small, simple, but well-executed. The cocktails were a bit weak for my taste.

I don't often leave reviews, but when there's service like this establishment, it's important to highlight it. We were supposed to stay at this hotel in February, using a Smartbox voucher. Unfortunately, flooding forced the hotel to cancel our reservation. We contacted Smartbox, who, three weeks later, still hadn't gotten back to us and considered our voucher to have been used, even though we weren't able to stay at the hotel. The situation was handled extremely well by the hotel, which offered to refund us directly, which was done very quickly and in a very friendly manner. I hope to stay there again soon to try out other services besides the customer service, which is, however, highly recommended!
