25/08/2026: Stopped at No Limit Café for a coffee and some snacks and were really pleased with our visit. Service was prompt and friendly, which was exactly what we needed while travelling.
The coffee was very good and the snacks were bang on: fresh, tasty and just right for a quick stop. Everything was served quickly and the whole experience was easy and enjoyable.
A great little place to stop for a coffee, something to eat and a break from the journey. Good service, good food and good coffee. Would happily stop here again if we're passing through the area. Recommended!

But the pizzas… even frozen ones are better…
They were really bad; the pizza dough was bland and the toppings tasteless.

04/08/2026: We stopped by for dinner on a Monday evening in summer. We received a very warm welcome and the meal was exactly as described on the menu, with perfectly fried food, a truly authentic quenelle with Nantua sauce, and an excellent fruit tiramisu.
The best part? A breathtaking view of the lake. Bravo!
24/07/2026: Expensive for what it is...you're paying for the ambiance.

20/09/2026: The place is gorgeous, the limited menu is enticing, and the waitresses and waiters are smiling—thank you to them for preventing us from running away when our food arrived. Frozen fries, reheated kebab meat that was impossible to chew, a Caesar salad without croutons and tasteless, a children's menu at €15 (!!!) for a defrosted hamburger and fries… it's extremely expensive for such mediocre food, which is a real shame given the idyllic setting. Perhaps they should have ordered the fish of the day to get something fresh.
16/09/2026: The restaurant is well located with a magnificent lake view. We dined inside because it was very windy, a big mistake! We ate outside because it was too noisy inside. The prices are too high for the quality. We won't be going back. There's a small parking lot in front, but there's free parking a little further away.

22/07/2026: The worst hotel of my entire trip through France, and I stayed in far cheaper places that were better.
From the front, the hotel looks fairly modern at first, but you quickly notice how neglected it is. Flower planters were left standing across the sidewalk, apparently pushed there by a car, and nobody seemed to feel responsible for putting them back. The rear part of the building, only visible at second glance, is visibly run-down.
The rooms have the charm of something between a hospital room and a budget hotel. In my room, the curtains had been torn down. There was no coffee machine or kettle, no bottle of water, and no minibar. The bathroom didn't even have a tooth glass or cup. The room wasn't clean either; there were crumbs under the bathroom sink.
Particularly annoying: the key card had to be re-magnetized at reception before EVERY single entry to the room.
For this price and category, clearly not acceptable. Not recommended.
13/05/2026: Excessive price considering the advertised standard and the reality.
Monday evening: only one chicken dish available. No prawns, scallops, or filet mignon due to staff shortages, and I wasn't notified or compensated for the inconvenience.

05/09/2026: A wonderful experience and a pleasant surprise today. Nantua, where real restaurants are hard to find. A very warm welcome, generous portions of fresh and flavorful homemade cuisine accompanied by a proper salad and a delicious little gratin. Excellent flambéed prawns and a tasty quenelle, all very well seasoned. The dining room is simple but pleasant and clean, with cloth tablecloths, a rare find. The wine by the glass was perfectly acceptable. Impeccable service and cleanliness. Even the restrooms were spotless. In short, highly recommended. We will be back.
09/08/2026: Let's keep tastes and preferences in mind... To be clear: a great find. Lunch: good, homemade, pleasant welcome. Dinner was the same: homemade cuisine, pleasant welcome, however, there was a bit of a wait, but no big deal, I was on vacation. Calm atmosphere, background music, you can chat. GOOD VALUE for money. I recommend it.

17/08/2024: Belle salle avec vue magnifique sur le lac. Mais ce soir là, gros problème de service. Ce fut trop long (1h pour avoir le plat), et impossible d'avoir le pain. Pour en avoir parlé avec la serveuse, elle a admis un pb dans le service, avec un raté dans la gestion du pain. On a le sentiment que le service manque d'organisation (plusieurs serveurs nous demandent la même chose).Sinon, les filets de perche sont corrects, les quenelles de brochet également mais la cuisse de poulet manquait de cuisson. On n'a pas pris de dessert. Pour se rattraper, il nous a été offert un digestif. C'est sympa, mais le sentiment général est moyen.
11/08/2024: En cette saison tout est blindé, mais ils nous ont accueilli sans difficulté.
Je vous recommande les quenelles.

27/05/2024: C'est l'endroit parfait pour déjeuner en terrasse, tout au bord du joli lac de Nantua (ce serait vraiment dommage de manger dans la salle du restaurant, alors allez-y de préférence un jour de Soleil). Mais PENSEZ A RESERVER....
La carte de ce restaurant est variée, mais elle vous permettra notamment de déguster la spécialité locale, la Fameuse Quenelle de Nantua !!! Un véritable délice...
Sinon la carte est composée de plusieurs menus qui vous permettrons de déjeuner pour une somme très raisonnable. Le choix est varié : Salades, viandes, poissons, produits locaux, etc.....
Bref, c'est une adresse "sûre". La preuve en est que de nombreux locaux y viennent régulièrement, et sont fidèles de cette adresse depuis des années. C'est un signe qui ne trompe pas !
N'ayez pas peur du bruit de la route car la terrasse est au calme côté lac, et le bâtiment fait écran au bruit de la circulation.
P.S : Le restaurant dispose d'un parking, et il est situé hors agglomération.
18/05/2024: Belle vue en terrasse, au calme. Service rapide et avec le sourire, pourtant il y avait du monde. Plat très bon et copieux.
