This hotel is really cool. The self-service piano in the entrance is a real treat. Géraldine gave us a very warm welcome; thank you for your good humor and professionalism. ++

This was a real saga! Thanks to Tempete Benjamin we were stranded at Albi station. After 2 hours, our promised train was cancelled. We had to get off. No alternative! As we got off, all of the passengers were hit by an epic downpour. There were about 300 wet people crammed into the waiting room. I had to act quickly. Standing outside in the rain I used my phone to book a couple of rooms in the hotel across the road. We were there 2 minutes later, a couple of drowned rats! We got our keys within a minute. Now that's a good welcome! An hour later we were sipping Kir Royales in the bar. The restaurant was excellent!
