L Goulu sur Albi

C'est une très bonne table à un prix très raisonnable. Menu entrée / plat / dessert à 30 € avec de très bons produits en bonne quantité, le service parfait avec des jeunes motivés. La responsable de la salle a pris le temps pour nous montrer la piscine et nous expliquer le côté familial de cet ensemble hôtelier, nous avons apprécié sa disponibilité. A recommander sans hésiter.

Nous séjournions à l'hôtel et avons décidé d'y diner avec nos enfants. L'accueil était parfait et tous les plats excellents. Nous avons apprécié la qualité du menu enfant qui pour une fois ne proposait pas de surgelés. Les portions sont généreuses et le goût présent. Merci pour vos attentions à l'égard de nos enfants qui se souviendront longtemps de ce diner et de votre gentillesse.

Located just opposite Albi train station, well soundproofed. Swimming pool (a little less nice than in the photos but appreciable). Good standard room. Friendly welcome (luggage storage after checking out) and nice lobby with armchairs and TV. Good value for money. Did not try the breakfast

A very good hotel in the heart of Albi. We were well received at this establishment. The staff is very warm, at reception and in the restaurant. The rooms have all the necessary comfort, the bedding is very good! Breakfast is quite simple but the offer is interesting. We were able to try the restaurant in the evening, the offer is good, the dishes are good, but that is not the strong point of this establishment. However, the staff was great! The hotel has an easily accessible swimming pool!

Very good stay, room, service, meals, everything was perfect. Respect for my dietary concerns (gluten and lactose) too. A big thank you to the whole team !

We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Le Goulu restaurant. Excellent welcome thanks to the attentive and attentive butler's attentiveness throughout the service so that your stay is appreciated and successful. This is rare enough to highlight it. The restaurant is well maintained. As for the meal: generous and very good, carpaccio starter of very fresh shrimp, well-cooked vegetables, perfectly cooked tuna fish, pleasant sauce, well-presented plates, pleasant fruity dessert, beautiful colors, perfect chocolate coulant and good Gaillac wine that we were able to take away. The hotel has covered parking and we were able to leave the car there for a tourist getaway in the city center located 10 minutes away on foot (a big thank you for this invaluable service). When we return, a large glass of fresh water, we discuss our satisfaction. Thank you, you and your team were perfect!

It is rare to find a very good hotel like this with a very good restaurant offering dishes cooked with so much passion (made by 2 very good cooks). Very well maintained rooms with all the comfort expected. Very bright, clean, pleasant, good bedding and all the amenities. The service is PERFECT!!! Pleasant staff who listen to you. Present but discreet. Helpful (we asked at the last minute for an improved aperitif for more than twenty people just before dinner, result: small verrines and toasts accompanied by a kir de Gaillac. IPPECABLE!!). You would have to be very picky to find fault. I want to remain neutral and look for the small detail: The elevator would have been a little bigger for more people and luggage (but there is a nice big staircase), one per shower a little wider so as not to wet the carpet, a larger bathtub for people over 1m70 (or a walk-in shower would have been more practical).....but these are just details. A very good 2-day stay with a very good table and large, hearty and well-stocked breakfast, impeccable service with quality staff, ... keep it up!!! It's everything we love and ask for. Best wishes. Very nice hotel, very pleasant staff and very comfortable room

We enjoyed three nights at this hotel recently. The service was very good with very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was also good but where this hotel really shines is dinner. The food was exceptional. The hotel is also located centrally in Albi, across the street from the train station and an easy walk to the center of town (and the unbelievable Saint Cecile Cathedral, a must see). It's also easy driving distance to nearby attractions (e.g. Cordes-sur-Ciel and Puycelsi).

Come without hesitation, too many compliments on everything and special mention also two new chef chefs who harmonize the presentation with new tastes like vegetable shoots WITH PATION AND SUCCESS
