We ordered veal rump with foie gras sauce. The definition of veal rump is: a fine, delicate cut of meat with very little waste. What we were served was the complete opposite: lots of waste and very little meat. Even with the good knife they gave us, it was impossible to cut through the skin. I was given another plate, exactly the same meat. Very disappointed, I left everything on my plate. I wonder which butcher sells this meat, because it wasn't veal rump at all. (Or was the menu misleading?)

A fantastic experience at La Barratte! Lovely setting, very friendly and pleasant staff, and as for our meal, everything was exquisite! Highly recommended!
