02/02/2024: I had not yet shared an opinion on the Brasserie des Francs which I frequent regularly. It's better to book to ensure you have a place because the place is so popular! Fabrice alone in the kitchen provides homemade dishes and desserts. The menu is that of a typical northern brasserie but the cuisine is well above most brasseries. The fries are, according to my husband, the best on the planet, so it's difficult to bring yourself to have a dish without fries! The portions are generous for an unbeatable price. Dish of the day different every day of the week. Virginie alone at the service is impeccably efficient and always with a smile. My only regret is that the menu does not change throughout the year, the variations are based on the daily special. Open for lunch only from Monday to Friday. Possibility of ordering takeaway meals (super generous) and privatizing the restaurant in the evening. In short, quite a few regulars because when you know the place you go back!
