La Barbote - Microbrasserie sur Montpellier

A really great place, the staff is incredibly welcoming. Take the opportunity to try the local beer and see some theatre (be aware that the basement room isn't very big). There are platters available for snacks.

I love this pub!! Great selection of draft beers at very reasonable prices, especially during happy hour when beers are €4 to €6 from 5 pm to 7 pm! What I love is that the beers change regularly, which lets you try new ones!! Cozy atmosphere reminiscent of real pubs, and a very friendly welcome!

Visited La Barbote several times over our stay in Montpellier, really good beers(5*), excellent friendly service and great busy vibe (happy hour great value between 5-7pm). We only ate once, very tasty smash burger and as proud Canadians had to try the poutine, fries good, cheese not traditional curds but did get gooey, and gravy was a little too sweet. All in all a great very popular microbrewery. Reservation recommended for anytime after 6:30pm (when the kitchen opens).

The waiter refused me a beer at 12:31 a.m. with a disdainful look. However, when my friend came to order, he served him.

A wide selection of craft beers that changes regularly. Top-notch service, a pleasant atmosphere, and an interesting menu to make the pints worthwhile.

Thank you to the wonderful team at La Barbote for the warm welcome. The beers are homemade and excellent, and everything was very flavorful. The food is very original and well-presented. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice. Warm welcome. Responsive and attentive service team. Music a bit loud... The beer is good and the food is enjoyable.

Amazing burgers, friendly staff, and great beer! Even on a Monday night, the place seemed like a local hang out spot!
