We just had lunch and it was delicious. A wonderful Christmas menu in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

We ate at the gourmet restaurant while passing through the area and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The four-course menu was very generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. Special mention goes to the mango and passion fruit ravioli dessert. The owner's welcome was also very much appreciated.

A wonderful place for dinner with friends. The food is delicious, the seasonal produce is exquisitely prepared, and the service is excellent. A wonderful discovery in Royat.

We only ate at the restaurant. The place is magnificent, the service is pleasant. But we were disappointed with the gastronomic restaurant where the dishes did not correspond between the menu and the contents of the plate... we had an asparagus charlotte with spider crab. We were served a zucchini charlotte, with peas, we had the spider crab. For our main course we had Wagyu beef, we did not find the specificities of this breed at all... Finally the dessert was good but the macaroons were soft. We can't say that we ate badly, however it was not worth the price and especially not in accordance with what we ordered!

Hotel well located high above the river. Public parking, therefore unguarded below. It's best to unload your suitcases at the hotel entrance (a bit complicated to park) and not leave anything in the car. Friendly welcome. Excellent tasting dinner in the restaurant overlooking the river. All the dishes were very fine 😊 A little less impressed by the room, which is otherwise bright and cool in the middle of summer. - 2 Venetian blinds out of 4 are out of order, which doesn't allow for a full view of the river... - No hook in the bathroom for clothes, nor anywhere to put hand towels apart from the radiator. - Unreliable and weak Wi-Fi. - No drink rates for the minibar, so we don't know, for example, if bottled water is free...

We had dinner and savored the dishes prepared by the chef. It was pure bliss; the flavors were subtle throughout the entire meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially the tasting menu. 👍

30/01/2026: A very nice bistro-restaurant, pleasant service, and a great menu: you come here looking for a small place to eat "specialties," and that's exactly what you get! The biggest plus is the value for money: good, generous portions, and inexpensive. The truffade could have been a little more charred for my taste, and the back room could be a touch cozier, but most importantly, we had a great time and a delicious meal! It's wonderful to be able to eat in old Royat under these conditions.
11/01/2026: We came to eat after an event at the Royat casino. We really enjoyed our meal, and the warm welcome was always a pleasure 😊
