La Belle Normande sur Le Mont-Saint-Michel

Nice, good and cheap, but too many flies and birds, hygiene needs improvement.

I had a sugar crepe. There were a lot of birds so I was a little concerned about hygiene, but it was delicious.

We were visiting the castle and wanted a quick snack. This crepe place looked very good. We arrived just before closing and the server too our takeout order. We watched he make our two crepes in real time. They were complete within minutes. They tasted awesome! The restaurant does offer other food items and has an indoor seating area. When we went it was not busy at all. I couldn't imagine if it was crazy busy - it would be a challenge to get seating or place an order.

Galette (ham and cheese), hot chocolate, crepes. It seems like it would be easy to fit in alone. I waited about 15 minutes around 2 PM on a weekday. They order and then take a seat. The cheese is delicious. The dough is chewy. The buckwheat flour is fragrant. The cheese has just the right amount of salty and sour, making it addictive. The hot chocolate is not too sweet and is delicious. There are sparrows inside the shop, so there's quite a lot of droppings.

A very pleasant surprise! The €11 set menu included an excellent chicken and vegetable sandwich with amazing bread, a side of very good fries, and a delicious raspberry doughnut 😋. My sweetheart's muffin was also very, very good. I highly recommend it.

Without a doubt, the best chicken and vegetable sandwich I've ever had. Excellent bread and very generous filling. The portion of fries is also very good. The donut was delicious. The muffin too. A very pleasant surprise.

This just goes to show you shouldn't pay attention to reviews you read online. On holiday in Normandy, a visit to Mont Saint-Michel is a must. The shop assistants were friendly despite a minor altercation with another tourist who was clearly disrespectful. They managed to keep smiling for the next customers. Be human and don't act like royalty, and you'll have a great time, just like we did. The price-quality ratio is decent for a snack bar at Mont Saint-Michel (except for the €10 croque monsieur!). The crepes were quite good and generously filled. Since the door is always open, where's the surprise of seeing birds come in? It's like the wasps you see in bakeries, except these are bigger, but nothing to worry about.

Surprised by the reviews, we came for a snack. It's good, quick, and inexpensive, unlike others (hello Pirate Treasure, candy at €8/kg). In short, we may have stumbled upon a good time, but we were satisfied.

Excellent service, we had crepes and drinks that were very reasonably priced and very good! I recommend them!

Nice crepes and galettes, but the service is very slow. The is sitting in the back.
