We had an absolutely incredible week at this restaurant! Every meal was a true delight; everything was delicious from start to finish. You can feel the genuine passion for cooking and the special attention paid to the customers. A huge thank you to Lionel, who was exceptionally kind to us. He gave us advice throughout the week, both on activities and on the best ski slopes – his recommendations were always spot on! A big thank you also to his wife, who carefully adapted the dishes to our dietary restrictions. It was truly wonderful to feel listened to and taken care of so much. Thank you as well to Benjamin for his warm welcome and always smiling service. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

A fantastic stay in Val Cenis, and one thing is for sure: we've become regulars at La Bergerie! We loved it so much we ate there every day 😄 A huge thank you to Lionel and his wife for their kindness and attentiveness: they took the time to prepare meals adapted to our dietary restrictions, always with a smile and great generosity. A top-notch team, a warm atmosphere, delicious food—exactly what we were looking for. Special mention to Benjamin and his touch of humor that makes all the difference! Incredible experience at La Bergerie in Val Cenis! The owner is fantastic, very welcoming and warm, and the whole team is lovely, smiling, and attentive. The atmosphere is friendly and you feel truly comfortable from beginning to end. The food is simply amazing: everything is homemade and you can taste it, quality ingredients, flavorful and generous dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it! And what's more, the setting is magnificent with the surrounding mountains, a superb view that makes the experience even more enjoyable ✨ Perfect after a day of skiing 🎿

We discovered La Bergerie during our ski trip with friends, and what a wonderful surprise! From the very first day, we received a warm welcome from the owner, Lionel, who was incredibly kind and professional throughout the week. We ended up going back every lunchtime, and it's no coincidence! The service is impeccable: attentive, quick, and always with a smile. You really feel at home. As for the food, it was a real gem. The dishes are delicious, generous, and you can immediately tell that everything is homemade. The quality is exceptional; the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. It's rare to find such a high-quality place in a ski resort. A big thank you to the whole team: Lionel, his wife, and the two other servers, all of whom were lovely and attentive. Thank you for your warm welcome and good humor, which made our lunches even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! Thank you for everything ❤️

We loved this traditional restaurant at the foot of the slopes with its authentic decor. We appreciated the professionalism, kindness, and smiles of the entire team. Lionel is fantastic and immediately made us feel at ease in his welcoming establishment. We recommend the Savoyard specialties, especially the blueberry tart. The food was perfect the prices almost cheap for the size of them. I got well fed even had leftover. The service was 10/10 very nice waiters good atmosphere. 100% recommended.

30/12/2025: We had our eye on this restaurant for several years, thanks to excellent reviews and a full reservation more than a month in advance. So we went there for Christmas Eve with high expectations… but the experience was quite disappointing. First of all, despite the Christmas Eve theme, nothing evoked the festive atmosphere: no little touches, not even an amuse-bouche. Instead, just dry biscuits, which is a real shame for an evening that was supposed to be special. The tartiflettes were clearly lacking in flavor: you could barely taste the potato, and the accompaniments were very minimal (two gherkins and two slices of cured ham, which didn't seem to be country ham). The fondue was decent but nothing special. I ordered a tartine with potatoes and melted cheese, but the bread was stale: even toasted, the crust shouldn't be that hard. For dessert, we opted for ice cream rather than the desserts advertised as homemade, as the rest of the meal didn't inspire us to continue. So, a mixed experience, especially considering the restaurant's reputation and the Christmas Eve setting. There are clearly better options. And apparently, the owner is acting in bad faith, as he doesn't accept criticism. I should mention that I didn't initially point out the pizza, which was aesthetically disgusting, and not even the one I ordered… In short, a series of horrors; I absolutely do not recommend it. We've been coming here for five years, and we'd never been to this restaurant before, and we were right not to! When I mentioned it to the locals, they indeed advised me against going because the ingredients aren't good. As for the Génépi, wow, what an achievement! Every time we pay the bill somewhere, we get a free drink… As for malice, there isn't any; criticism is constructive, and some people are better at it than others.
26/10/2025: I highly recommend it. Excellent food, both quantity and quality. Very friendly and professional staff. Go there with your eyes closed.
