It was full of people, being alone I really thought I was going to be turned away and I had such a kind and professional welcome, thank you for allowing me to have an excellent meal: the truffle gnocchi were was a delight and what can we say about the tiramisu, in a warm setting. Thank you, I will come back with great pleasure 🙏🏼

Friendly staff and a wide selection of food and drinks. A nice catering shop with a beautiful view of the Mont Blanc mountain range and the foothills of the small town of Chamonix. Highly recommended to visit the best and most profitable place on that mountain.

It’s quite rare to have a formal dining experience midway up the mountain and I got to say this place ticked all boxes. They have an extensive wine list and their portion sizes are decent. I spend approximately €100 for my meal and it was well worth it. If you are skiing in the area and would like an haute culinary experience, I would highly recommend

Omeletterie La Poele

01/04/2024: We had lunch here the day we arrived in Chamonix as we were walking around the center and saw that the terrace was pretty full. We were four people and we shared two pizzas and two omelettes and even though it wasnt bad, it was also nothing special at all. Pizzas were okay although not very italian like. We decided to try the omelettes as it looked as if it was the specialty and they were very average and too pricey not to be at least good. I would not really recommend getting it. In terms of service it was okay although as they were full they were running around. In general i cant say its a great place although its also not horrible I guess but there plenty better options in Chamonix for sure. Large beers were 10€ a piece which after being in Chamonix for several days felt expensive. In general they are pretty expensive everywhere but here even more.

29/02/2024: You have to find the spot under the Bochard cable car but afterwards you can enjoy the terrace, the service is incredibly friendly and efficient. Special mention for the burgers are at the top of what can be done….. enjoy, enjoy….
25/02/2024: Very good atmosphere, and well located on the slopes. On the other hand, the service during rush hour leaves something to be desired... An endless wait, so that in the end our order is not taken in its entirety. And we are asked to queue again to be able to order the missing burger...
