Located at the foot of the magnificent castle, this small but incredibly welcoming establishment offers delicious food at a very reasonable price. It's well worth a visit for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The owner and waitress are fantastic, and the chef is excellent.

08/09/2024: Everything was perfect. We went there on recommendations and from the welcome to the dishes to the atmosphere, finally a real restaurant worthy of the name. I recommend with my eyes closed
28/08/2024: A very pleasant lunch with colleagues at the end of July. Only 20 minutes from Tours, it was perfect! The new chef ensures quality cuisine, the dishes delight the taste buds, the cooking is perfect, meat cooked at low temperature, inventive and refined cuisine for excellent value for money. The terrace is also very pleasant. We will come back as a family for sure!

Cafe du Chateau

19/09/2024: the cuisine is healthy, a little heavy, the service slow, and the atmosphere noisy. But as there is no restaurant in Langeais, except a (good) pizzeria, la Fringale, we have little choice. I went there before the boss hung up on me, because his wife had forgotten a product at Carrefour, and I wanted to bring it back to her. “I work, ma’am”, and what do I do??? I'm doing a service, well, that's it, it's over...they have a lot of customers, loyal or tourists, they can afford to lose a Langeaisian. Finally, it's open in the evening, just for drinks. They have changed.
30/08/2024: Located in a picturesque street, leading to the castle with formica tables you could think 'this is a tourist trap'. Boy, would you be wrong! The staff is very friendly and the food is top notch. It's incredible what they can do for 60-70 euros for 2. Three great courses each and a few drinks each. The fish of the day was cooked to perfection and the café gourmand is second to none. Easily recommended.
