A unique moment in the heart of the mountains... What can I say... absolutely magnificent, incredible, what more can I say... nothing! I just want to thank the whole team for their top-notch service. A maestro at the grill who makes the meats dance to order on the blazing grill for perfect cooking. It's the owner himself who does it, bravo!!! And what about this magnificent, cozy atmosphere... woodsy, restful, soothing, with the setting and the aromas... A true taste of vacation, relaxation, and discovery. Lots of homemade products, a love of good food and conviviality, all at a very reasonable price. So, rather than say more, I congratulate them and above all, come and discover this place. A little tip: make a reservation if you don't want to be disappointed by not being able to eat there. A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE TEAM AT LA BOISSAUDE! BRAVO! DON'T CHANGE A THING!

My husband and I came as a family with my son and his girlfriend. A truly traditional mountain restaurant, with generous and delicious cuisine, and attentive staff, even though we were "forgotten" for 20 to 30 minutes (my daughter-in-law came over to remind them we were still seated, and we received an apology from the owner). I'm only giving it 4 stars because I was very disappointed that the green peppercorn sauce accompanying the Charolais ribeye steak was charged at €4.90. Frankly, that's not cool, it's outrageous.

We returned to the inn a few days ago for the second time. We were equally delighted by the setting and the delicious food served in the heart of the mountains (the inn is located at 1229m). What a picture-postcard setting where cows roam freely and carry us along to the sound of their bells! I love the restaurant's interior, all wood paneling with tasteful decor that blends vintage and modern styles. The portions are incredibly generous and very tasty. Excellent value for money. The service is quick and friendly. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend this inn. Until next time, and all the best.

I was visiting France for the first time from California, and I was brought here by my friend and her family who are from the area. Amazing experience and setting! The Franche-comte region has alot of artisinal food to offer, but this particular restaurant captures the essence of what this region has to offer- amazing beef, pork and cheese. I can't get enough of how beautiful the setting is especially with the happy cows roaming with their cow bells ringing. Can't wait to revisit this place and do more hikes in the area. If you're a tourist and reading this, definitely visit this place! It was a memorable place for me!

A superb discovery! The setting is simply wonderful, nestled in a picture-postcard landscape that invites you to disconnect and indulge. As for the food, the portions are more than generous: it's impossible to leave hungry! Everything is delicious and exudes the authenticity of the region. A special (and hilarious) mention from our visit: a cow calmly came into the parking lot to enjoy a little snack by munching on the geraniums! It was absolutely memorable and added an unforgettable touch of local charm to our meal. A warm and welcoming place that we wholeheartedly recommend!

I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years, I've seen it through the various changes of ownership, and I find the food much less good (a lot of frozen food). Furthermore, the waiters aren't very friendly; for a bill of €550, we weren't even offered a small coffee or digestif, and we waited a very long time between courses. The setting, however, remains magnificent.

I don't often take the time to leave reviews, even when I'm satisfied... but this time! We arrived without a reservation, yet we were still welcomed despite the incredible crowd. From start to finish, it was flawless! Exceptional service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

27/08/2026: A superb setting, a timeless and very welcoming place. Thank you to Norbert and Cécile for welcoming us like friends.
16/08/2026: We had a great time with a group of 10 people for a two-night weekend. For those looking for a charming and authentic natural setting, this is the perfect spot! As for accommodation, we slept in a very pleasant and comfortable yurt. However, next to the yurt, we had the unpleasant surprise of finding a composting toilet that was already quite full and emitting very bad odors... What a shame! Regarding activities, we tried the escape game, which is more of a treasure hunt in the woods. We had a good time: the puzzles and workshops were well-designed. Regarding the food, we had mixed feelings. The meal was very good – we opted for a fondue. However, we were not impressed with the service. Interacting with the waitress was difficult for several reasons. We ate in a room as narrow as a corridor – beware if you are claustrophobic! Although we had expressed a desire to dine outside, given that tables were still available and other customers were dining al fresco, we were subjected to clumsy remarks when the wines were presented to us. For dessert, we had opted for a "café gourmand" with three desserts of our choice, including a mirabelle plum tart, which, for no apparent reason, was replaced with a fresh cheese. We didn't feel welcomed by the waitress; we had the impression we were intruding. Finally, regarding the restaurant's pricing, the bill was inflated compared to what had been initially agreed upon, even though there had been no changes to our order. I find it regrettable that this restaurant experience was marred by a professional who refused to accommodate the simple and understandable requests of customers.
