a very satisfying combination, a very pleasant moment of rest and gastronomy on the road. impeccable service, delicious breakfast with absolutely delicious coconut spoon biscuits.

While passing through, we stopped at the gourmet restaurant, we did not stay at the hotel. Great experience, the surprise menu, which retraces the 60 years of the restaurant, is a great discovery, the flavors are there, the servers are efficient and very attentive.

Really lovely place. Understated luxury in a gorgeous setting. Staff were amazing and the restaurant served some of the best food I’ve eaten regardless of Michelin distinction.

The gourmet meal is filled with local and creative flavors, this 60th 🌟 is deserved! Professional service and very well recommended wine. We were also able to enjoy the swimming pool and the garden which offers a true haven of peace, with the song of the cicadas for company. Thank you to the whole team for this relaxing but glitter-filled bubble. I highly recommend !

The layout of the hotel is very nice and the rooms very comfortable, the reception service is attentive, there is parking for cars and motorbikes. The hotel bistro is not worth it, for gourmets it is expensive and poorly served. The space is nothing special. The town has nothing.

Nothing to complain about, year after year, we take pleasure in returning to this typically local establishment of remarkable standing, French excellence still exists. Nothing is left to chance ! The starred restaurant is also worth the detour, we will never tire of this local cuisine presented with great taste and refinement. The extremely interesting discussions in the early morning during a superb breakfast with the host, are an integral part of these moments that we appreciate over the years. See you next year.

Very high gastronomy...impeccable service but without overdoing it. The place is superb with a lot of originality. I highly recommend this experience for a great occasion.

Ich war rundum sehr zufrieden. Da ich einen weiten Anfahrweg hatte (160 km), habe ich den Mittag gewählt. Gerne hätte ich dieses vorzügliche Menü abends genossen. Es ist nicht mein erstes Restaurant, das mit einem Stern dekoriert wurde. Aber für mich ist es von denen bisher das beste gewesen. Eine solche Detail-Verliebtheit bis hin zum winzigen Deko-Teigblatt oder den kleinen Brötchen mit jeweils angepasstem Geschmack zum Gang - unglaublich! Da ich - typisch deutsch - sehr pünktlich war, war ich einige Zeit allein im Restaurant. Das ist nicht ganz so angenehm, weil ich nicht gern im Mittelpunkt stehe. Aber nach einiger Zeit hatte ich mich daran gewöhnt. Der ausgezeichnete Service - auch von der Sommelière - hat dazu beigetragen, dass ich mich sehr verwöhnt gefühlt habe. Die Einrichtung war in meinen Augen sehr elegant und dem Essen angepasst. Modern eingerichtete Restaurants gibt es wie Sand am Meer. Das habe ich nicht vermisst. Zu den amuses-bouche gehörte eine Crème des Banon-Käses, die mir sehr positiv in Erinnerung geblieben ist. Natürlich war das signature dish ein Höhepunkt - und das für mich, die ich nicht gerade für Honig schwärme. Würde ich in der näheren Umgebung des Restaurants leben, würde ich es sicher immer mal wieder aufsuchen.

Outside the major tourist areas, this place of peace and beauty restores energy and pleasure to life.

We are very well traveled and perhaps that adds to my negative comparisons. When I looked at the pictures, I thought delicious. The reality of plating just didn’t hit the mark. I agree with other comments that the restaurant is dated, but we are all still recovering from covid. I picked the 3 course tasting with matched wines. There were many delightful add ons from the kitchen but I found my dishes, too heavy on salt. I had the poultry with thick layer of soft fat, Szechuan dressing that was way too salty, very overpowering for the poultry. I did love my husband behive dessert with beautiful plating. What was frustrating was staff spoke softly, I repeatedly asked them to speak louder, at least 8 times . I could recount the conversations of the couple behind us and next to us. I found it very frustrating to say the least. Wines really are not paired to the dishes. They tell you that they will make flowered cocktails, and wine with main course. I included my pictures so that you can get a better idea. It was quite expensive ( which I don’t mind paying IF the meal delivers).
