La Bonne Étape sur Amboise

We had an excellent weekend, a quiet and relaxing place facing the Loire where we can walk, there is only the road to cross. Welcoming and attentive staff, clean and spacious room. I highly recommend this establishment.

Restaurant with quality cuisine and above all quantity on the plates. Many products from the region or made by the chef. Fast and attentive service. A perfect moment.

How lucky we were to be able to reserve 2 places and a room at the end of the year with La Bonne Etape. Because success leaves few free slots. So book now and if you allow me I suggest you try the duck. Rest assured, everything is excellent. But with the duck you will have 4 jewels on your plate: the duck presented in thin strips, the gratin dauphinois, the mushrooms and the diamond which overlooks this already magnificent crown, the sauce! This balsamic sauce is incredible! The chef is.. THE chef. The sauce alone could be a dish. A marvel of delicate perfumes, an avalanche of contrasts and the perfect balance with the first 3 jewels. My mouth still waters. And if you go there one evening, book a room too; This will help you keep points on your license.

We spent 2 nights at this establishment. The rooms are very correct. A very good table. We will come back without problem.

Superbe adresse !!! Aussi bien pour l hôtel que pour le restaurant qui fut un vrai coup de cœur !!! Emplacement idéal avec parking à 5 mn de centre d Amboise. Chambre très propre et confortable . Le dîner fut excellent ainsi que le service ! Et petit déjeuner copieux et très fins ! Merciiii pour votre accueil Allez y les yeux fermés ! 😉

Great welcome and excellent meal, definitely worth the detour

Small charming hotel, very pleasant room. In terms of the restaurant it is very very good, a great offering from the daily menu but exceptional when eating a la carte. In terms of service and friendliness of the staff, these days it's a great pleasure to have such a warm welcome, I will come back with great pleasure.

Deuxième séjour à la (TRÈS) bonne étape, cuisine savoureuse, généreuse et familiale à l'image des patrons et leur équipe. Chambre confortable (la n°1👍) P'tit déj copieux :cake citron, marbré chocolat et pasteis de nata fait maison (merci patronne)!
