La Bonne Nouvelle sur Rennes

The wait was interminable. The drinks service was quick, but about an hour passed between the end of our main course and the arrival of dessert. The main courses were good, but I wouldn't recommend the desserts to anyone. The tiramisu barely had any sponge cake, and the chocolate mousse was more runny than anything else. My advice is to only order the main courses; the desserts are truly not worth the price or the wait.

Relaxing on the terrace after a busy day, I often have a beer 🍺 or a glass of wine 🍷. I admire the woman in charge who constantly has to "police" the area, keeping onlookers away from bothered customers. Isn't there a social emergency service in Rennes?

A Sunday morning staple. We first came because of the location. We go back every Sunday morning because of the server. A must-visit spot in Rennes!

I'm still looking for the fish in the completely burnt fish and chips that I paid full price for... My advice: avoid this place and choose another restaurant in town!

I came in one Saturday morning for a coffee. I was reading the newspaper; the weather was lovely. I enjoyed the place and even stayed for lunch. The only problem was the waiter/bartender with his tiny ponytail. I swear, he didn't say a single word to me the entire time. I went to the bar to ask for a glass of water, and he sighed, grabbed a carafe that had been cleared from the terrace, and poured me a glass of water. It's incredibly disrespectful. I know I've done nothing wrong; I'm always pleasant to people. But there's just something wrong with this gentleman's behavior towards me. I assure him, if his intention was to make me never come back, I'll take it from him. I wouldn't give it zero stars because I had a good meal, and the young waiter at lunchtime was very friendly. You should take note: with your graying hair, you shouldn't be ashamed to ask for help. Learn to be welcoming at a younger age and ask for training in restaurant professions because you are sorely lacking in it. Head to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for training in the fundamentals of sales and customer service; you will come out of it much better, I dare hope. Imrude person.

The welcome and service were good, unfortunately the meal was uninteresting... if you're looking for a place to eat well, there are better options, sorry.
