My impression of this restaurant has completely changed since 2019. The welcome and friendliness have returned to the forefront, and it's now a real pleasure to walk through its doors.
The food is still perfect, so I'm adding a star and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Passing between Strasbourg and Paris, we stopped at La Boucherie in Saint-Dizier.
A pleasant surprise for a chain restaurant: the quality was definitely there for this type of establishment. It's obviously not a gourmet restaurant, but it's clearly a cut above your average fast-food joint. The dishes were well-prepared, the meats cooked properly, and the portions generous.
The service was quick and efficient, which is much appreciated when you're on the road.
A convenient and satisfying stop for a simple, well-executed meal.

The staff and the owner are very pleasant.

Fantastic restaurant! Our waitress, Mumu, was very professional and took excellent care of us. Our order arrived very quickly, with almost no wait. The portions were generous and truly delicious.

I received a very warm welcome and was well seated, however, I was disappointed with the meal. The fries were undercooked, soggy, and cold, and the sauce was runny. I'm still looking for the Saint Marcellin cheese! Fortunately, the very pleasant waitress made up for it and soothed my dissatisfaction. Since this restaurant has recently changed owners, I'll give it a second chance. Thank you again to that waitress.
Second chance today, pleasantly surprised! This time everything was delicious, and the service was welcoming. I will definitely be back.
