L'Indus sur Saint-Dizier

The service was mediocre; the waiter made comments simply because we wanted a table for two that wasn't necessarily right next to the others. The terrace wasn't full at all. The salads weren't great either.

Passing through Saint-Dizier with friends, we were pleasantly surprised by this establishment. A very warm welcome, competent staff who were always attentive. Excellent cuisine in the Italian tradition. The portions are more than generous, offering very good value for money. I highly recommend it! 👍

One decent chicken skewer, fries too, for €19 is perhaps a little pricey. The service is adequate, although the waiters could be a bit more pleasant. They do their job well, but a smile would be appreciated—that's part of running a business, after all.

Passing through Saint-Dizier for a family visit, we stopped for a drink on a terrace, enjoying the perfect weather. In fact, all the terraces were packed this weekend. I wanted to leave this review to highlight the work of the waiter, who was single-handedly managing the entire terrace: taking orders, serving, and handling payments. A far from easy task, especially with a full terrace. There were ten of us, and despite this, he managed to keep things running smoothly without too much of a wait. I therefore want to commend him for his efficiency and professionalism under these circumstances. The only criticism I could make concerns the smile and the welcome, which were a little lacking. But given the workload, this is understandable. Hence my 4-star rating.
