05/05/2026: A one-night stop during our road trip: our motorcycles were safely stored 👌👌 Dinner wasn't offered (we were informed of this when booking due to an exceptional closure), but there are several restaurants nearby. However, breakfast wasn't provided (we only found out upon arrival), but they did provide us with everything we needed to start our day well in our room.

03/05/2026: We came to rediscover it ^^ Well, I preferred it before because it really felt like we were in the States; now the new style is rather bland. The atmosphere is still quite dark, and the table lighting is too harsh. We were very satisfied with the main course. However, the service was far too slow. We had to find the waitress again to get our order, and we waited almost 30 minutes for dessert... We asked for extras to add to our chosen set menus, and once we got to the register, they told us it wasn't profitable for them and recalculated everything à la carte. Not great! And on top of that, there was a lack of friendliness from those two twin sisters at the bar...

18/04/2026: We had a wonderful culinary experience. Special mention goes to the halibut steak with asparagus and the pollack with Champagne sausage. Very daring combinations that paid off. Top-notch.

05/04/2026: We arrived on April 4th. There were a few minor misunderstandings. The staff wasn't up to standard. They need to relearn the basics of service and sommelier knowledge. Serving champagne without offering a taste, disappearing with the bottle, and bringing the glasses to the table was a bit lacking for the expected level of service. Otherwise, the food was perfectly fine.

27/03/2026: I'd been wanting to try this Japanese restaurant for a while. The takeout option is really convenient when you want to stay home. We ordered the skewer and maki menu. Everything on the menu was excellent. We loved it, and all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

18/03/2026: The very caricature of rice paddy refuse... 70 to 80 euros for two people on multiple occasions, and these scumbags don't even bother to put in the mai ku lu, in short, rotten to the core.

03/03/2026: The couscous is delicious, and there's a large portion; the only downside is that the price of takeaway couscous is the same as eating it in the restaurant...

11/02/2026: We ordered two packs of couscous, but the vegetable couscous lacked flavor. What seemed excessive to me was the price of the 3-pack (7.50). I won't be back.

23/04/2026: Very disappointed, takeaway lamb curry charged 12 euros, lots of sauce and 3 small pieces of meat!

16/04/2026: A truly authentic Indian restaurant, the food is very generous, as are the appetizers. The hygiene is impeccable, the service is excellent, and the staff is attentive. A very peaceful and exotic restaurant.

09/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! Since the change of ownership, the hotel has been superbly renovated. The spaces are magnificent, tastefully designed, perfect for relaxing and dining in a pleasant setting. The management's welcome was excellent, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you want to return. A truly wonderful place to stay, highly recommended!

03/04/2026: Following a recent change of ownership, this hotel now offers a completely new experience. The new management has breathed new life into the place with noticeable improvements in both the reception and the services offered. The staff is attentive, professional, and responsive, making for a particularly pleasant stay. The rooms are well-maintained and offer a good level of comfort. There is a genuine commitment to improvement and customer satisfaction. This is a hotel that deserves to be rediscovered under its new management!

17/04/2026: The meat was undercooked (burnt taste and black particles). I requested it rare; one was cooked very rare, the other two medium-rare, to the point of being very firm.

09/04/2026: Service: The plate was placed outside the table, the waitress didn't know the daily special or the side vegetable and had no desire to ask about it... And there were only four tables... Food: Cold ribeye steak, cold fries, and hardly anyone there... (After I complained, I was told that was normal with rare steak...) Excellent meat: thankfully. Atmosphere: The patio door was wide open (drafting down our backs), closed when we asked. Four cars at 12:30 pm had already worried us, especially since the restaurant is usually quite full... We used to come regularly when we were passing through Saint Didier, and we always had attentive, friendly, and very pleasant waiters. Two daily specials for 49 euros and service by people who were clearly not trained. So this is our last time...

26/03/2026: The service was adequate, just lacking a smile. There was a choice of dishes (3 to 4) per category. A bit pricey for a roadside inn. Airplanes fly over quite frequently (due to the military base).

09/01/2026: This restaurant is located on the N4 highway just outside Saint-Dizier, Haute-Marne, heading from the provinces towards Paris. We had lunch there: steak tartare with fries and a hamburger with fries, salad, and a cheese plate. The tartare was perfectly seasoned, and the ground beef was of good quality. Our only slight complaint was that the fries weren't homemade; it's a shame, as we prefer to pay a little more for good fries. We were seated at a late hour for the provinces (1:40 pm), which was a big plus. The dining room is spacious, and the tables are well-spaced, another good point. The service was professional and pleasant, yet another plus. The bill wasn't exorbitant, a final good point. We highly recommend this culinary stop. Simple, good, and good value for money.

10/11/2025: Due to their popularity, the waiting time is enormous, but it's worth it.
