03/05/2026: We came to rediscover it ^^ Well, I preferred it before because it really felt like we were in the States; now the new style is rather bland. The atmosphere is still quite dark, and the table lighting is too harsh. We were very satisfied with the main course. However, the service was far too slow. We had to find the waitress again to get our order, and we waited almost 30 minutes for dessert... We asked for extras to add to our chosen set menus, and once we got to the register, they told us it wasn't profitable for them and recalculated everything à la carte. Not great! And on top of that, there was a lack of friendliness from those two twin sisters at the bar...

05/05/2026: A one-night stop during our road trip: our motorcycles were safely stored 👌👌 Dinner wasn't offered (we were informed of this when booking due to an exceptional closure), but there are several restaurants nearby. However, breakfast wasn't provided (we only found out upon arrival), but they did provide us with everything we needed to start our day well in our room.

13/04/2026: Welcoming hotel. Comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.

18/04/2026: We had a wonderful culinary experience. Special mention goes to the halibut steak with asparagus and the pollack with Champagne sausage. Very daring combinations that paid off. Top-notch.

05/04/2026: We arrived on April 4th. There were a few minor misunderstandings. The staff wasn't up to standard. They need to relearn the basics of service and sommelier knowledge. Serving champagne without offering a taste, disappearing with the bottle, and bringing the glasses to the table was a bit lacking for the expected level of service. Otherwise, the food was perfectly fine.

03/03/2026: The couscous is delicious, and there's a large portion; the only downside is that the price of takeaway couscous is the same as eating it in the restaurant...

11/02/2026: We ordered two packs of couscous, but the vegetable couscous lacked flavor. What seemed excessive to me was the price of the 3-pack (7.50). I won't be back.

23/04/2026: Very disappointed, takeaway lamb curry charged 12 euros, lots of sauce and 3 small pieces of meat!

16/04/2026: A truly authentic Indian restaurant, the food is very generous, as are the appetizers. The hygiene is impeccable, the service is excellent, and the staff is attentive. A very peaceful and exotic restaurant.

25/05/2026: While the food was actually quite good, the attitude was completely unprofessional. They charged me for a credit card starting at €10, even though I'd already spent €17 on my meal. I can understand bank fees, but the rudeness and lack of professionalism are unacceptable.

09/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! Since the change of ownership, the hotel has been superbly renovated. The spaces are magnificent, tastefully designed, perfect for relaxing and dining in a pleasant setting. The management's welcome was excellent, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you want to return. A truly wonderful place to stay, highly recommended!

The new management has breathed new life into the place with noticeable improvements in both the reception and the services offered. The staff is attentive, professional, and responsive, making for a particularly pleasant stay. The rooms are well-maintained and offer a good level of comfort. There is a genuine commitment to improvement and customer satisfaction. This is a hotel that deserves to be rediscovered under its new management!

09/05/2026: We ordered... The dishes arrived cold... out of two dishes, only one was reheated... After complaining again, they offered a small hot plate... But still... The waiter apologized... OK... Apparently, there was an apprentice in the kitchen, but that wasn't our problem. And it continued... We ordered dessert... After 15 minutes... We asked... And it wasn't ordered... They're making a mockery of the customer. Go to Flunch, it's better.

09/05/2026: Okay, I'll give it a go. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time, I don't really have a choice. This restaurant is absolutely one to avoid. The meal was served cold... I'm not kidding, it was cold, especially the fries. Okay, they replaced them, but still. After an endless wait, the dessert, Brussels waffles, arrived. Mine were hot, but my wife's weren't. We were fed up, but we didn't say anything. Apparently, according to the manager, the cook is an apprentice, as is one of the two waiters. The best part is the manager telling his customers they're bitter... He doesn't understand that we're the customers... According to him, you have to be understanding towards your staff... Of course, sir, especially since you do absolutely nothing in your restaurant. On top of that, you're aggressive towards your customers. I paid, I didn't ask for any compensation, and you insulted me. So, a word of advice: avoid this restaurant.

10/11/2025: Due to their popularity, the waiting time is enormous, but it's worth it.

21/05/2026: There were 29 of us with a reservation. We were seated at different tables, which was a shame, as there was enough space for just two large tables. Anyway, the meal was very good, but the waitress's attitude was rather cold, and we were rushed. Another woman came to serve us; she was very friendly. I find this attitude regrettable, and when I read other reviews, I realize it's a recurring problem. We come here to spend money; a little smile would be nice, or else they should find another job. I won't be returning if I'm ever in Saint-Dizier again.

26/03/2026: The service was adequate, just lacking a smile. There was a choice of dishes (3 to 4) per category. A bit pricey for a roadside inn. Airplanes fly over quite frequently (due to the military base).
