Honestly, nothing to complain about, the manager is incredibly kind, as are the waitresses. The welcome and service were top-notch, not to mention the chef! We promise to be back for the next Le Mans Grand Prix! The Charente locals ☺️

Quite disappointed with my visit on Saturday, February 5, 2022. The service was very slow, a bit chaotic. The wine, salt, and bread arrived practically when the dish was almost finished. You called the waiter, he looked at you almost twice and continued on his way, even though he was tall enough to see. He was also rather unfriendly. On the other hand, the meat was excellent, no complaints there. Is there a real boss on board this ship? I doubt it!

11/06/2026: No complaints about this hotel, which has been around for a long time and whose current owners have preserved its undeniable charm. Excellent restaurant. Wonderful welcome.
08/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at the restaurant of the Grand Hôtel de Solesmes. The setting is superb, calm and bright, with a lovely view overlooking the garden. The food is simply perfect! Seasonal produce, expertly cooked. The staff is incredibly attentive, professional yet warm. Excellent value for money for an exceptional experience. An address to treasure.

Restaurant Le Boeuf Fermier

04/07/2026: A tiny room, simply decorated, warm and inviting. We received a very friendly welcome and excellent service. The menu was perfect – delicious, generous portions, from appetizer to dessert. We'll be back soon!
30/06/2026: I really like restaurants where the focus is on a few key dishes for maximum enjoyment. I had a very, very good meal.
