Restaurant Le Boeuf Fermier sur Solesmes

We stumbled upon this place quite by chance during a visit to Solesmes, and what a wonderful discovery it was! A truly delightful culinary experience: an immense pleasure, thanks to the kindness of the staff and the chef, as well as the delicious food. An explosion of flavors with seasonal produce, the incredible freshness of local ingredients, and that truly beautiful French cuisine we love so much. A very pleasant surprise, a truly delightful experience. We will definitely be back!

On the recommendation of the Grand Hôtel de Solesmes, we went as a family to Le Boeuf Fermier. Excellent food, homemade cuisine, professional and friendly service. The only slight drawback was the somewhat dark atmosphere in the evening, with only small table lamps providing light. I recommend this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant! The dishes are delicious, carefully prepared, and bursting with flavor. The service is top-notch, seamless, and very pleasant, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. Fabrice is incredibly attentive from beginning to end, showing great care and kindness. The waiter is simply exceptional: jovial, attentive, and highly professional. A truly wonderful experience that we highly recommend!

First visit to this restaurant in Solesmes! A warm welcome, the dining room is small but not too noisy, even though it was full on Easter Sunday. We ordered a main course and a dessert; the portions were decent. My cod loin was delicious, and the strawberry tart was a delightful twist on the classic. The waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed, which meant the wait was a little long, but on Sundays, we had the luxury of waiting. The prices were a bit high, and there was no set menu, only à la carte options. We had a pleasant meal.

Excellent restaurant. Both the chef and the waiter are truly delightful. It's rare to find such high-quality, locally sourced products cooked so well. It was the focus on local sourcing that convinced me to go to this restaurant, and the menu lists the origin of the ingredients (a real sign of transparency, something unfortunately no one else does). The menu isn't extensive, which is a good thing! It's a true mark of quality! However, the price listed on Google and the actual price aren't the same. It's more like €30-40 per person in the evening, which is perfectly reasonable, I'm not complaining, but it's good to know. Lunch (like everywhere else) seems to be cheaper. My bill came to just over €90, including an extra bottle of cider I bought at the end to take home. Thank you again for this moment, we will be back.
