Incredible, passionate boss, I highly recommend him

I'm leaving this review with a touch of disappointment, as I used to really like this bakery. Today, I ordered a €10 poke bowl and it wasn't very enjoyable. There was very little rice (the base of a poke bowl) and a lot of another ingredient that looked like split peas. The taste was quite bland. Generally speaking, I think the food has changed in recent years: it's become greasier and less flavorful. It's a shame, because we'd simply like well-made, tasty basics. The owners are nice, and so is the cook. The waitresses are very friendly, and the new young waiter is really attentive and very pleasant. However, if you come often, you can feel a certain pressure from the owners on the staff, and the atmosphere can seem tense, which is a pity. I wonder if you're aware of this decline in quality. I even heard a saleswoman say that some days there were fewer customers; perhaps that's something to reconsider. There's a new bakery that opened in Saint-Jean, and even though I'd prefer to come to your place, I might try somewhere else. I really hope you get back to your previous level of quality. On the other hand, the pastries are excellent: if you want good pastries, this is definitely the place to go.

Lovely bakery. A nice bonus: on a clear day, you can see the mountains... No surprise when you're located on a road and have a name dedicated to the Pyrenees!

The food was impeccable, served by a very welcoming, smiling, and energetic staff. It's a shame about the tables; although clean, they're as inviting as a dentist's waiting room… TERRIBLE! 😒

For an important event, we placed a special order with the bakery, and everything was executed flawlessly with care, talent, and imagination. Thank you for your kindness and excellent service. I highly recommend them and will certainly be back.

Excellent bakery, I recommend the pastry called "Russian", a revisited specialty originally from Oloron (near Pau) with praline cream.
