La Boule D'Or sur Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire

A rather mixed experience. However, the welcome was very good. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, both for dinner service and at reception. Regarding the room, I found the cleaning to be lacking, with a lot of hair on the floor. In the bathroom, the bin hadn't been emptied, there were marks on the toilet seat, and the bed had been made haphazardly, barely tucked in. However, the bedding was quite good and firm. As for the meals, since I was on a business package, dinner was very good and a good portion. It's still good value for money, but I really think they should pay attention to the cleanliness of the room.

The Golden Ball was a real help in planning our colleague's retirement party. They were very accommodating and respectful of how we wanted the occasion to go. They went above and beyond to make us happy and remained very discreet throughout the evening – a truly wonderful experience.

We celebrated my grandmother's sister's 100th birthday at La Boule d'Or restaurant in Barbezieux on a Saturday, and the staff exceptionally opened the restaurant especially for us. The welcome was warm and very attentive, which greatly contributed to the success of this important family event. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all the guests. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness. We have very fond memories of this occasion and highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant, pleasant and reassuring waiter. The dishes are refined and generous, and the sauces are flavorful with just the right seasoning, a sign of a very good chef. A very pleasant experience in a lovely setting. Reasonably priced, you can come without hesitation. Highly recommended.

For a 3-day stopover, bed and breakfast, I can only recommend this establishment. One word to describe my stay: professionalism. From the room to the meal, everything was impeccable. While the rooms aren't state-of-the-art, they are large, clean, and have the essentials. A big congratulations to the hotel team. I look forward to returning to your region!
