In anticipation of a general meeting, we made a fact-finding visit to Dijon, to the convention center, to the Mercure hotel and to its restaurant Le Château de Bourgogne. What a discovery! Quality cuisine, a chef who came to explain his passion to us, the love of local products that he enhances with his teams, an excellent pastry chef. In short, you will have understood, I am really impatient to show my elected officials the quality of the services offered by this establishment, where the good atmosphere reigns.

I was lucky enough to be able to dine 4 evenings in a row in this restaurant at the Mercure hotel. The setting is a little dated, but the professional and warm welcome quickly makes you forget this detail. Menu (weekly) and à la carte allow you to dine at all prices. The fish is quite remarkable: trout, sea bream, sea bass and monkfish for me; very fresh and well prepared, and above all (which is unfortunately now rare), always hot and served on hot plates. Note, as a starter, an excellent sea bream tartare. The desserts, obviously homemade, are famous; the cart of sweets is generous and delicious (note an excellent pavlova). The varied sorbets (I liked the pineapple/apricot combination).
Attentive and friendly service, whether it is the maître d' who has an eye for everything or the waitresses/waiters, who are fast and efficient.
An excellent restaurant in Dijon.
