We had an excellent lunch! My husband ordered the cognac foie gras as an entree, I ordered the bone marrow - both were exceptional. Followed by the duck breast in a sublime sauce. For dessert, the crème brûlée, browned perfectly, was rich and creamy. The staff are always welcoming, and as locals, we especially appreciate the fact that they are open on Sundays.

Excellent brasserie, open on a Monday no less, as many in the area are closed. We received a warm welcome, the daily special was very good, the prices more than reasonable, the service very friendly and pleasant, and pets are welcome – a real plus! ➕️ ➕️ ➕️

Family lunch on a Sunday. Beautiful setting, very clean premises, impeccable service, delicious and refined dishes. There are few quality restaurants in Saumur. Don't miss this one, I highly recommend it.

When we entered the restaurant, the waiter said it wasn't dinner time yet. We told him we needed to catch a train and needed to eat as soon as possible.
The chef, knowing this, moved up the dinner start time by an hour to prepare our meal, and we made it to our train just in time.
Although we speak different languages, come from different places, and have many other differences, the restaurant staff treated us very well.
The food was delicious, and the chef even kindly asked us how it was after the meal.
