Overall, I recommend this restaurant in Saumur. It's a very nice restaurant with good value for money. However, quite a few dishes were unavailable on the menu, and this happened several times (we came twice in one month), and it was the same every time… The waiter wasn't understanding or polite to us. He lacked professionalism. A shame! Later, we had other waiters, and they were excellent. A great team.

A good place to eat in Saumur. A brasserie with decent value for money. The food is good and the service is efficient and quick. The restaurant is pleasant and the staff are friendly. A good meal before continuing your exploration of the town and its castle. I recommend it.

We went to La Bourse des Gourmets for the first time with my parents and my partner, who had recently moved to Saumur. And I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The menu isn't very extensive, which for me is a real sign of quality, and we weren't wrong. The dishes are well-prepared, using quality ingredients, for a very reasonable price: around €25 to €35 per person. For a brasserie that emphasizes homemade food and local sourcing, that's more than commendable. The service is very good, and we also noticed that the establishment employs apprentices from the Saumur hotel school, which is really nice to see and deserves to be highlighted. One small drawback, however: the noise level in the dining room, which is sometimes a bit high. For four people, we paid €160, including main courses, desserts, and drinks. On the menu: beef tagliata, seafood sauerkraut, the burger of the day, and ham hock, accompanied by cocktails, followed by two crème brûlées and two chocolate fondants for dessert. A varied and rather elaborate selection of dishes. I highly recommend this establishment. After trying numerous brasseries, La Bourse des Gourmets easily makes my top 10.

Definitely worth stopping to eat here. Very nice staff and very good food. The menu has a lot to choose from and also a selection that you don't find anywhere else.

Hello, we ate with friends on October 31st, 2025 at noon. The service was disappointing, the dish was lukewarm, and the Camembert wasn't melted.

Excellent restaurant! The decor is tasteful, the food is very good (special mention to the pavlova which was a delight) and the staff is pleasant!
