We came for dinner last Saturday, in the final stretch of our vacation, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at La Braise.
Special mention for the chicken burger: excellent, with a truly delicious sauce that made all the difference. It was flavorful, generous, and very well prepared.
I even told the chef as we were leaving that I would leave a Google review because we enjoyed our meal so much: promise kept 😊
A great place that we're delighted to have discovered during our vacation. If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly return.

We came to eat at the charcoal grill, as we often do when we're in Angoulême. The owner is very kind, as are her husband and their two sons.
We had a great meal, as usual. The chef is excellent and has been for a long time.
They have meats, hamburgers, salads, and prawn skewers that are extraordinary. The service is quick, the plates are generous, as is their wide selection of wines. The wine glasses are very well poured, which is why the bill was reasonable for three people, including three aperitifs, three main courses, a gourmet coffee, a coffee, and two glasses of wine, for a total of €101.
I recommend this restaurant for families, couples, or groups of friends.

During a short stay in Angoulême and the surrounding area, I made a wonderful discovery of this restaurant tucked away in the narrow streets. The service was reasonably quick, and the staff were pleasant.
From the aperitif to the meal, everything was well-presented and generous.
