We come to this restaurant every time and we are never disappointed. Everything is very good and homemade, a treat, I recommend it to anyone coming to visit Angouleme or to eat there. The service is great and the people are super welcoming.

Not easy to manage a table of 30 last Friday, but challenge met. The chef installed us on the first floor, a private room for the occasion. Everything was perfect, attentive service, charming and humorous waitresses, the menu proposed suited everyone, quality and cooking to meet your expectations. We had a lovely time and we won't hesitate to come back if the opportunity arises.
Thank you for this friendly moment and I hope to see you next time ;)

The steak tartare was excellent, I have a slight complaint about the fries being cooked/homemade (no certainty).
The atmosphere would have been nicer if we hadn't had the duo of big, half-drunk ghouls, but you can't help that.
Finally, there's no need to come 6x and ask if everything is okay: everything is fine 😊
I recommend for the quality, quantity, and friendliness of the service.

Very good quality butcher's meat, good quantity, excellent fries (bintjes?) and atypical decoration. Also the waitress offered an aperitif offered by the house to a customer (they know how to take care of their customers). The deserts are very good. (To be honest at the time of writing this review I have not yet eaten the desert but given the quality of the rest there is absolutely no reason why the desert should not be up to par with the rest).
