Unfortunately, it is no longer the "Chez Paul" that we knew, this friendly place with generous and tasty cuisine. Despite everything, the service is good and the atmosphere too.

On the occasion of a wedding, during a family meal, everyone was delighted. Excellent service, very involved waitress, delicious food, great setting. I highly recommend it if you are passing through Angoulême.

A great time spent during our end-of-year corporate meal, the waiters and waitresses are very warm, the team is dynamic, no endless waiting like in some restaurants. Quality dishes, the wine list is well-stocked. A restaurant where you come away satisfied without any problem but eating quality products!

Cokotte

28/01/2024: I had been anticipating a visit to Cokotte for two years and was so delighted to have lunch there on the 28th. The standouts were the Cappuccino Dubarry, which I could have eaten for all three courses, and the caramel mousse, which I could have eaten for three more courses. Soooo good! Even the bread: perfectly crusty (but not too jagged) on the outside, and soft (not dry) on the inside. My lunch made me so happy! And the waitstaff were charming! I hope to come back next year!
