La Brasserie Canaulaise sur Lacanau

An excellent restaurant, but the service lacked professionalism. On the culinary side, there's nothing to complain about: we ate very, very well. The dishes were expertly prepared, flavorful, and of high quality. A truly excellent choice for the taste buds. However, the experience was more mixed regarding the welcome. Yes, it was very, very hot that day, and we can understand that the conditions were harsh. But that doesn't excuse everything: for the start of the season by the sea, one expects a professional attitude. Unfortunately, the waitresses' gracefulness was frankly lacking, and the service proved very inefficient. A heatwave can happen, but professionalism and a smile should still be the order of the day. It's a shame, because the setting and the food deserve much more attentive and welcoming service!

The dish was very good and generous, the welcome was warm and the waitress pleasant.

We eat here every lunchtime during our stays in Lacanau-Océan. The menu is varied, and after trying many dishes, we can say that everything is good, even very good. The service is also friendly. The price is a bit high, but it's no cheaper than the neighboring brasseries (we've tried them all). It's right on the ocean with a beautiful view, and we'll definitely be back to enjoy it again and again!

The meal was very good and quite generous. We enjoyed our meal at this brasserie; the staff were welcoming and friendly. The price-quality ratio is reasonable. It's just a shame the terrace is right next to the road, but otherwise everything was very good. I recommend it 👍🏼

Fantastic welcome and great advice! We ordered five different dishes, and all five customers were delighted. Special mention to Manal from Dunkirk for her Bayleys Café (for the lucky ones!). Highly recommended!

Every time we come on vacation, we eat here. Always excellent. Visited twice this week... Service 👍👍👍 The team is on deck...responsive and super friendly...so let's be friendly with them! And it always works! Beef tartare 20/20 👍👍 Burger 20/20 with real steaks, absolutely excellent. Another visit on April 17, 2026, always well served and welcomed, great waitress and waiters. Very fresh and well-spiced Italian tartare. Thank you all.
