La Brasserie de la Fontaine sur Sancerre

We ate there on November 1st before heading back to Vendée. A restaurant with smiling staff, a good atmosphere and top-notch service. We ate very, very well there. 😊

Quality home cooking, good value for money

While passing through Sancerre, we came across La Fontaine thanks to Google reviews, we did well to open the door of this bistro, we eat like at home but better :)

Great discovery and good, very hearty dish. Slate system e+p or p+d €21 or €25 e+p+d. Small terrace for lunch by the water 👍. Park at the market, it’s within walking distance.

We were already there in the early afternoon and were still warmly welcomed for lunch with our three children. A warm family business with an attractive bar for locals. Perfect for a tasty, well-organized lunch as a charger for a tasting afternoon - for which the owners gave us the perfect tip. Keep up the good work!

Very good food prepared by Doudou. Quantity too generous. Julien always very kind and attentive. Very competent waitress. A beautiful address.

A very pleasant little moment with the family, we didn't know it before and, frankly, we won't be disappointed, we'll come back with great pleasure.
