28/08/2026: Just had a nice drink, and the service and atmosphere were quite pleasant and good. It was nicely situated on the village square. So, it's a top spot for a drink!
28/08/2026: Located in the heart of Sancerre, this cafe offers plenty of outdoor seating in the square in front of the building, in addition to indoor seating.
It's always bustling with customers.
Although it's a cafe, they have a wide variety of ice cream, ice cream desserts, and shakes.
They also serve alcohol and light meals at reasonable prices.
The staff are all friendly and create a great atmosphere.
Highly recommended!

09/08/2026: We had been wanting to come for a long time and we weren't disappointed; we had a wonderful evening with friends at Taste. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food (charcuterie board, Crottin de Chavignol cheese, and duck rillettes with magret) and the drinks (Champagne and Silex white wine). The service was quick, discreet, and attentive, and of course, a special mention goes to the incredible view of the vineyard. Being locals, we will definitely be back!

12/08/2026: A place to remember. Set menu at €19.90 (starter + main course + dessert) and €17.90 (starter + main course or main course + dessert). We ate very well. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The atmosphere is inviting.

The service was quite good, although the waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed with fewer than twenty covers...
Very disappointed with the bill.
For two Cokes, a main course, and a two-course meal, we paid €41.60. That makes the Caesar salad €19, which I find outrageous for a salad that wasn't particularly substantial, more like a starter.

28/08/2026: We've been coming here every year for five years now. It's always been delicious, but this year the food is very poor, the portions are small, and the prices are higher.
18/08/2026: One of the few restaurants open late and with a wide selection. The lamb shoulder was very good, perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. Also, since one of us had a slight stomach ache, they even made us pasta without vegetables, charging us only €3 (very fair). The only downside is that the seats on the outside benches are a bit uncomfortable.

24/05/2026: On every motorcycle ride, it's an essential stop, plus the staff are friendly.
22/05/2026: The restaurant is nicely decorated, well located, with parking and a terrace. We had a meal for a group; the starter was very generous, the quenelle dish was a bit of a mixed bag, but the sauce was good, and the dessert was very good. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were very friendly.

The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious.
Breakfast was excellent, with delicious local products. Thank you to Véronique for her warm welcome, helpfulness, and excellent advice; congratulations on her professionalism!
As for the restaurant, the service was perfect, and the meal was delicious. Congratulations to the chef!
We recommend this hotel without hesitation.
28/02/2026: A wonderful memory of this stopover in the heart of the small village of Chavignol. The hotel is opposite a producer of Crottin de Chavignol cheese, a family who also produces very high-quality Sancerre and Pouilly wines (their estate is not far from the hotel). The hotel is charming, and finally:
A fantastic tasting menu at the restaurant, which I chose to pair with wines from the Bourgeois family (high-end wines, including glasses of wine that sell for over €40 a bottle at the estate). The entire tasting menu was served for €40 – a real bargain, don't hesitate!
The restaurant also has a very lovely decor.
I will definitely return.

25/08/2024: La banque est un lieu chaleureux. Nous y avons passé une très agréable soirée. A souligner la qualité de leurs cocktails : mention spéciale au Pornstar. La carte de planches et de grignotes salées est originale et fournie. Adresse à garder !
14/07/2024: Bar à vins très sympa pour un petit lunch entre amis (ou simplement en couple).
D'excellentes planches et une cave d'enfer.
Et en plus pas cher ....
